  1. I heard Deal Tavern ordered a reprint of Attack on Titan 2 Final Battle. It's hilarious how people were buying them up for ridiculous money and now they're all screwed.

Also, did Code Of Princess Ex get a reprint? I suddenly see tons of them on eBay. Does anyone know if it comes with the launch edition goodies inside the case?

  2. I think eBay has been doing this shit since around 2018 where they limit results based on your location inferred from your IP address. I have friends in India where the search results are severely constrained until they connect to a VPN based in US and suddenly boom all the results appear.

You can also try clicking on the search filters and setting the "item location" filter to "worldwide" but it doesn't always work.

  3. It's a bad idea to buy up retail Switch games based on "rarity" because they can easily get reprints at this point. It has already happened many times. Examples are Atelier Ryza, Ys VIII, etc.

Korg Gadget was a "limited Japan exclusive" and had people scrambling to buy at inflated prices until an ESRB version suddenly dropped and crashed the price.

Then there was the Walmart release of Tiny Troopers XL rumored to have a "limited print" and people were tripping over themselves buying from scalpers for $60+. Now there's a seller on eBay sitting on tons of copies trying to sell at $30.

I'm sure there are many more examples like this. I almost bought into the hype for some of these but I'm glad I refrained.

Imma need some details and first impressions!

The projector is a Samsung LSP9T ultra short throw. This style of projector is also known as a "laser TV". It sits on the TV stand right in front of the screen.

I paired it with a 120" gray screen and 5.1 speaker system. Initial impression is I'm blown away 😄. The projector is Samsung's flagship and is supposed to have colors equal to an OLED TV. Contrast is great but not as good as an OLED. Brightness is excellent since the light source is right next to the screen.

Here's another picture of a scene with vibrant colors. It has a little too much red tint that I later fixed.

Overall I'd say it's a massive upgrade in all respects. I can't get over the 120" screen size. No TV today can match that.

  5. Updated my OLED TV to a full projector setup! Massive step up from my (now seemingly puny) 55" TV to a 120" screen! 😄

Got an ultra short throw projector to avoid a bunch of wiring in the attic and drilling into the ceiling for the mount. It just sits there on the TV stand right in front of the screen. Also got a receiver and 5.1 speaker setup.
