If anyone has anything I may have missed, please let me know and i will gladly add it.

I am pretty sure the retail releases are 100% but the other discs get a bit tricky.

Spent a few hours getting this together over the weekend and i hope it is helpful to yallllllll

Great list! Matches up with mine as far as I remember. Only thing I noticed missing from the  non retail released discs is the naruto tomy collection disc

Which is Dairantou Smash Brothers DX Jitsuen-you Demo?
Do you have a picture?

https://assemblergames.com/threads/request-smash-bros-dx-playable-kiosk-demo.60664/

I think that's it, there's a gold color scheme one with almost the same simple design that I think is the event-you disc which is just videos

Edit: just in case assembler actually does go down, I attached the picture

I originally forgot which source I saw that, and because of that I stumbled unto this great blog thanks to you!

Pepsi over there is doing really cool work! Going to have to peek over it some more because I probably will find something else. The Pikmin demo I never knew about, way cool.

Double edit: also thank you because I double posted the smash event-you disc in the list and missed it!!

Good job on the list, it's handy and gives me ideas if I want to grab another JP game sometime what I could look forward into digging into as options.  I really do need to get the Adv Island Hudson Select though as I've got Bonk and Star Soldier (had Lode Runner, hated it.)  I know PAL got some unique stuff too, pretty sure it's a shorter list though, and outside of wonky regional sports it would be interesting to see what goodies there were kind of like the english Doshin the Giant.

Thanks man!!

If you haven't, check out kururin squash. https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Kururin_Squash!

I definitely need to research the pal stuff too

Well when I was kind of digging into a few GC games I did grab a couple I ended up just not getting into (NIntendo Puzzle Collection, but even more so Gundam vs Z-Gundam.)  I had looked into Kururin Squash as I like the GBA title.  Radirgy and Zoids caught my eye then, as would have Lupin if it wasn't so reading heavy.  But beyond that I'd need to start watching clips to try and remember more, and I think there was a PAL game or two that had some potential.

Now I feel a bit silly not realizing that Jitsuen-you is the Event-You disc lol.
When I read your post I thought I was missing another disc for the Smash Melee set.
Good thing that it was just a lack of attention on my part and I do have the complete set.

TAUxopxh.jpg

Do you have more info about Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II Jitsuen-you Sample (*)?
I've never seen a picture of it.

I can't find one, if I were to take a stab in the dark it would be a luigi stickered retail art kiosk demo.

Jitsuen = demonstration so I got my words mixed around, confused you and confused myself haha. Sorrrrrrry I'm kinda bad at Japanese. The event-you is the indigo art, the movie disc is the gold, and the jitsuen is the green luigi tagged demo with retail art (which is the tough one to find, apparently). I thiiiink this is accurate. I changed out jitsuen to kiosk demo, for clarity.

Great topic!! Just need to note the English Friendly games to have a master list..... 🙂

I will add this. I just need to figure out how I want to format it. I didn't feel the need because there's so many threads out on the web with people asking what games are English friendly but barely any with a list of everything.

I understand very little to no Japanese, I just like romanticizing games we never had release here in the states.

From what I know, the Event-You disc is the hard one.
I heard that my copy is the only known copy. On NA someone said there are 2 other copies in the hands of japanese collectors but I've never seen a picture of those copies.

From what I remember the one with Luigi on the cover is just a NFR version and the game is the same but I can't play it right now to check.
I will be able to do that in December so if you want, just remember me to check it and I will.

Yeah I've seen the gold pop up on eBay but never the event-you, definitely a gem.

I would be grateful if you could, will do my best to remember.

I have seen this item before listed and noticed it wasn't on this list. I don't know much about it, but I'm assuming it's some sort of demo disc considering it is in a jewel case similar to the Biohazard special edition demo.

Dood, awesome! Thank you so much for sharing I absolutely will add it.

Apologies for double posting but I figured I would post this here and see if anyone has more info.

The not for sale lenticular card for Zelda wind waker. Was it a pre-order bonus at a specific retailer? Was it a first print thing? If anyone out there has more information I would love a little background on it.
