Pamela Kreimeyer was standing with family members about 45 feet from the device when it exploded and she was hit in the head by a piece of shrapnel, "causing instant death," according to the sheriff's office. "It's believed that the projectile that struck the victim then continued another 144 yards through the air coming to rest in a field," according to the sheriff.

Condolences to the family, but how in all the hells did anyone think this was a good idea???

Last year, Dennis Dickey (37), started a 47,000-acre wildfire because of a stupid gender-reveal party gag.

Florida Man tends to yield funny results.

Type in Florida Man then your birthday. Fun little game to try with people.

"Florida man rides manatee, dares police to arrest him, gets arrested."

EDIT- I just went straight down to the submit box without reading the rest of the thread. I have been beaten to referencing a manatee. 😆

Homeless dude in LA threw a literal bucket full of diarrhea on some chick like a week ago.

Unrelated, a 40-year-old furry dude legally changed his name to Simba Lion, constantly threatens to sue Disney for stealing his name, and more recently, after not paying rent for a couple of months, decided to shoot at some Michigan cops. He has a few speed holes in his chest now.

From the Article: "This is pretty terrifying, especially since homeless attacks can happen pretty much everywhere. I guess here’s your daily reminder to always look twice around the street, and run whenever you see someone coming at you with a bucket."

I guess that last bit about running is supposed to be witty humor? It's really quite sad that anyone should be forced to "look twice around the street". Anyway, attacks can of course happen anywhere, but in some places you are absolutely more likely to be attacked. Last time I was in Cali a few months ago, I was constantly told by people to "watch out" for homeless. Unemployment, poverty, and lack of affordable housing are huge problems in the good ol' USA. Mental illness is also a serious issue that is not treated seriously.

There was a time I rather wanted to move to Cali. With the crime, traffic, idiot politicians, and yes, the fact that they have no idea how to care for the burgeoning homeless population, it's not high on my to-move list.
