How are inbox size/quotas counted?

I'm curious how the size of your inbox is determined.  I've not engaged in that many sales, nor have I shared that many photos (I don't think) but my inbox is at 100%.  It also seems to go up about 1% with ever message I send, whether it has an attachment or not.

I understand server space isn't free, but I'm having to delete a lot of old conversations, many without attachments, just to get new ones.  I know this isn't email, but they are good for historical records and tracking.  How are these messages limited, so I have a good understanding of what to expect?  Thanks Glove/whomever.

You have a limit to how many individual conversations you can have.

I believe it was 100 last I checked.

Could always just remove the limit, we're not hurting for money, subs are keeping the place going and could easily handle any extra that might happen from extra message allowance. No big.
