Some people think that Crash is just acting like he was stupid the whole time. However, I personally think that the talking Crash is not the real Crash but an alternate dimension one. Think about it, Crash has never talked normal like that before, so why would he suddenly talk in complete sentences. In the story, they claim that the alternate dimension versions of Crash and Coco are dead, however, it's a possibility that they might have survived. Personally, that's what I think.
