Apparently the new thing is Biden has to leave DC or use the military for something, and then he'll be arrested.

This plan is really dragging. 😛

He's on Air Force One circling the Arctic Circle being protected from Russian MIGs so Angela Merkel can't scramble Swedish Saab Viggens to institute Agenda 21.

The stand in did a fine job with the fake oath, but notice how he forgot to stutter during the speech.

Now Biden has to make sure the Deep State doesn't institute the New World Order.

(insert something anti-Semitic here)

Well, now that things are calming down, here is the Biden Oval Office. They move in quick, apparently.

He kept the Clinton era rug and drapes, and the GW Bush couches. The Resolute Desk has been been in continuous use since Clinton, and was used by JFK, Carter, and Reagan as well.

Here you can see the various Oval Offices through the administrations:

Didn’t know penises came up that often 😂 Certainly is a nice easy way to dismiss the point I was making without actually rebutting it though.

I did ignore the hrw link because I’m not going to read a 45 page document for an argument on VGS to find the bit where they may or may not call them a threat to western democracy when the damn thing is titled China’s Threat to Human Rights, which we’ve already established is an issue.
And what makes Melissa Chen an expert on this subject?  The subject of the US’s aggressive policy stance towards one of our biggest trading partners.  No one’s arguing that Xi is a good guy or that the PRC isn’t committing human rights atrocities.  The question I posed was whether taunting them solves anything for anyone.

Unfortunately all too often...

And at any rate... here's the thing, appeasing China does not work. China is an aggressive nation in pretty much all aspects. China keeps doing things such as sanctioning US officials (and this is about the least harmful thing they do) to threatening Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc - I think you're aware of their track record

If you're really asking is taunting them good? I would say no. Taunting is childish. Is being very aggressive against China good? As far as I can tell, yes, that is the only approach really left. Even Biden seems to think that most (or at least some key items) of Trump's policies on China are sound - which is of course saying a lot, since, well, this is Trump we're talking about!

So while taunting them is not the right approach, sitting back is just as bad. Ultimately I think it's in the world's interest to try and move manufacturing away from China. This is happening. For instance goods that used to be made in China are now made in Vietnam. Of course, this is arguably still just a few drops in the bucket, but you have to start somewhere.

Are you kidding me?

Wild to me that I’ve seen churches in my area since the pandemic hit having their signs brag about having in-person services only, one even said remove your masks, etc. but now they all have quotes about God still being God through the bad times and to keep praying for this dark time in America. I can’t imagine having such a comfortable existence and ignorant outlook on life that you can ignore all the heinous shit going on both in the US and around the world, but orange man not win election and suddenly it’s doomsday, we’re in the End Times, trials and tribulations, etc. If they ever find out about the Holocaust I imagine they’ll lose their shit.

And Biden says the U.S. govt will continue to recognize Juan Guido (the failed Venezuelan coup leader) and continue the sanction against Venezuela (that are killing Venezeuelans and benefiting American corporations).

When asked for comment Biden said, China is an undemocratic country that will take your freedom.

The way that we know with 100% certainty that Trump doesn't have a big dick, is that he didn't spend his 4 years in office acting like LBJ and whipping it out in the men's room to intimidate people --- because that is exactly the kind of behavior I'd have expected from him.

He early became fabled for a Rabelaisian earthiness, urinating in the parking lot of the House Office Building as the urge took him; if a colleague came into a Capitol bathroom as he was finishing at the urinal there, he would sometimes swing around still holding his member, which he liked to call “Jumbo,” hooting once, “Have you ever seen anything as big as this?,” and shaking it in almost a brandishing manner as he began discoursing about some pending legislation. At the same time, he would oblige aides to take dictation standing in the door of his office bathroom while he went about emptying his bowels, as if in some alpha-male ritual assertion of his primacy. Even on the floors of the House and Senate, he would extravagantly rummage away at his groin, sometimes reaching his hand through a pocket and leaning with half-lifted leg for more thorough access.

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/20/technology/proud-boys-trump.html

After the presidential election last year, the Proud Boys, a far-right group, declared its undying loyalty to President Trump.

In a Nov. 8 post in a private channel of the messaging app Telegram, the group urged its followers to attend protests against an election that it said had been fraudulently stolen from Mr. Trump. “Hail Emperor Trump,” the Proud Boys wrote.

But by this week, the group’s attitude toward Mr. Trump had changed. “Trump will go down as a total failure,” the Proud Boys said in the same Telegram channel on Monday.

As Mr. Trump departed the White House on Wednesday, the Proud Boys, once among his staunchest supporters, have also started leaving his side. In dozens of conversations on social media sites like Gab and Telegram, members of the group have begun calling Mr. Trump a “shill” and “extraordinarily weak,” according to messages reviewed by The New York Times. They have also urged supporters to stop attending rallies and protests held for Mr. Trump or the Republican Party.

Anyone know of any further details behind Biden's plan? I'm struggling to see how prioritizing relief/resources based on race and/or gender is a positive thing.

“Our priority will be Black, Latino, Asian and Native American-owned small businesses, women-owned businesses, and finally having equal access to resources needed to reopen and rebuild. But we’re going to make a concerted effort to help small businesses in low-income communities in big cities, small towns and rural communities that have faced systematic barriers to relief.”

My employer is Asian. He is a good person to work for. Been that way for 15 years.
