One game when I got home from work and it was like it was broken. 5-0 in the first half and 6-0 deep into second half. They hadn't had a shot on goal til the goal with 90 seconds left. Meanwhile, I haven't been able to score 2 in the first half all night. Im going to give it a few more go's on Saturday, but I dont see improvement realistically. I'm certainly no soccer aficionado, but I don't recall that when being fouled by the opposing team (and a yellow card being issued) that you had to kick the ball from the spot of the foul? It feels like I should be able to dribble the ball from here. I can't think of how else it would work because inbounding the ball wouldn't make sense, since the ball was never out of play. But for whatever reason, it doesn't feel natural to me to be required to kick. Maybe because I'm not accustomed to professional soccer as much as casual sports. Or perhaps it's because I'd normally see a yellow card given on a run to the goal and closer to the opponents goal (and perhaps a shot on goal was then attempted)?
