Some weeks ago I bought a roll of magnetic strip while at the craft store, but after trying it on the backs of some of my stitches, they did not hold well, the magnet sticky backs were hardly sticking, thus if I were to possibly make magnets of some of these I needed glue, mom had a glue gun and plenty of glue sticks so this early morning decided to give it a try on some of my less important cross-stitches. All went well, only one that ended up with glue coming through to the front was the Legacy of the Wizard scorpion because there were no stitches where I initially tested it so it came through the holes unobstructed, lesson learned. But everything else, all worked like a charm and after tugging on them to check holding power, they are holding tight.

Decided to try something different, stitching one of my mini sized cross-stitches onto one of my T-shirts. So this being an experiment was my very first time stitching something onto a piece of clothing, and I will say, for my first, not bad, not as straight as I was aiming to get it nor quite in the exact spot, but still turned out to be sorta easy to do and I am surprisingly satisfied with the results. Now it would probably work better on a nonstretchy top, also even though stitched on securely, still the very edges of the plastic are exposed which should probably have stitching covering it all.

I crazy glued velcro (soft side) to the back of the characters, and then I stuck the hooked side to the monitor. Regular tape might not hold them for long. It was fun to do. Can't wait to fill up the entire monitor!
