By comparison, my sealed games don't really rank with the likes of NES, SNES, Gameboy, etc., but I've never kept anything sealed by design, it's just stuff I haven't gotten around to yet that I bought back when it came out. The back log is...extensive, lol. I started going around the room a shelf at a time, like with Tetris Attack and a few GC games, lonely DC Giga Wing over there, and then into Wii/Wii U with a few XBOX games in the mix. I have a few Game Boy Color and GBA games (I really want to make some time to play Hamtaro and the River King games), but DS was when it really started to pile up as my free time continued to dwindle. Those Mega Man StarForce games taunt me every time I look at them; I've really gotta carve out some time to try them out...as a diehard Mega Man fan, I feel shame for not have played StarForce yet Sony games up next (PS1 and PS2 anyway). 4 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Renmauzo | 1,198 Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 Sealed games pt.2: I really love the PS1 library for having some truly remarkable games, these are just the ones I haven't gotten around to yet other than Puzzle Fighter since I play it on Saturn and Xenogears (I just bought the GH copy to have it since Xenogears is my favorite game of all time); I used to buy a few copies of Xenogears at a time and give them to friends with little money who seemed genuinely interested in the story, but I kept one for myself. PS2 came at a time when I would buy games just to overcompensate for having grown up so poor and not wanting to feel like I had 'go without' anymore. Like with DS, I had less and less time but kept buying new games anyway, and honestly, there are dozens of games I opened, flipped through the manual, and that's as far as I've gotten so far. I've since gotten over those insecurities from my youth and am far more choosy. To that end, I've given away a couple hundred games over the past 2 years to cut the fluff; if I kept it, it's because I intend to play it at some point (or because my wife will). PS3 and PSP are kind of tucked away, but about half of my PSP collection is still sealed *sigh*. I'll probably get those out later to take a stroll down memory lane and shoot some pics. 3DS, Switch and PS4 are in a different room, but aside from 3DS, the other two are too new for sealed to really matter I'd imagine; 3DS could be fun to go through. thanks for looking folks! 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
