Sealed Games, Show Them Off!

Hello, I though it would be appropriate to match JoneBone's Graded Games post but for sealed games. I'll get the ball rolling with my sealed collection. (now technically my FFVI Super Famicom game is not sealed because SF games never were as far as I know. However, it is unopened and very pristine!)

If you know me I've been fairly clear in the past I don't see eye to eye with sealed game collecting so I stay out of it.  But try as I may, in the end and around 6-7yrs apart about I did end up with 2 sealed games.  The NES game and the GB game, the only reason, my favorite art of Samus, and again the art of my favorite pokemon character Charizard.  Both are in plan black one inch border thick black wood shadowboxes up on my wall to enjoy.  I've got my original game+manual and just game for Metroid and Pokemon Red respectively.  Thankfully in both cases I didn't get in deep with either, and both were found in town here too.

I love that yellow Metroid art. A nice splash of color for a great game. The original box art is so uninspired.

I couldn't agree more.  I do like the old laziness made kind of honest art of the old black/silver box stuff as it was pixel art with light touch ups, but it was bland.  The reason I bought this entirely was the cover art as it was also a NP poster image too.  That's why it's in a shadowbox now.  It's kind of higher on the wall due to another object (as is Pokemon above it) but they're over the TV an easily enjoyed.

Excuse me sir, but I'm pretty sure posting pornographic images is against the terms of service. Or something.

More please.

This actually made me Laugh out loud. Heres a bit more incestuous interactions.... just for you sir!

I remember about 15 years ago someone had an ebay auction selling all three games at once llike this, with a similar picture.

It went for a kuh-razy 1200 at the time.

Congrats on the nice trio.

I wasnt around then, but 1200$ really looks like nosebleed territory for sealed games in 2004 when i think about it.
