  1. I am late to the thread but need to point out that the message is very clearly a warning - a crack habit is cheaper than trying to assemble a complete TG16 collection from scratch.
  2. You got an email? Lucky! At 11:40 EST my friend texted to ask if I ordered a pocket. He's into handhelds but knows that I've purchased Analogue's offerings in the past. I was like, "nope, never had a chance." The question was strange because I know he'd asked me this before. Then he tells me preorders went up at 11:00 EST and to quick go order. I won't be surprised to be in group C and will likely cancel if that's the case. I've purchased the Super NT, Mega SG, DAC, and Mini NT Noir from them but unfortunately do not appear to be on their notification list at this point (I did receive the July email for the 8/3 preorder). Oh well. One thing I'm curious about is how many available units are in groups A & B compared to C.
  3. I purchased this copy of Gunstar Super Heroes years ago and found it looking through stuff at my parent’s house. Is this an intact factory seal or did it get reseal or re-shrink wrapped at some point? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Same here sans-customs fees. The hardest part for me is the $499 price tag charged immediately. I've been spoiler by Amazon and their ilk not charging until shipping. July is a long wait, especially when it could easily get delayed due to COVID-19.
  5. A Nintendo Authorized Repair Center neon sign was just posted on the Facebook Marketplace for $2K. Seller is in Collegeville, PA near Philadelphia. I'm not sure if posting links is ok, but will update with one if they are allowed and requested. No, its not mine. I'm not sure if this item is rare or not, priced high or low (or just right), etc. but I couldn't find section or thread for linking Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace finds and wanted to start a thread for those type of one-off non-ebay listings.
  6. Positive feedback for zeppelin03 Purchased an SNES Junior. Everything arrived quickly and securely packaged.
  7. (placeholder comment until I complete more transactions)
  8. Funcoland, mid to late-90s. I wanted to play Chrono-Trigger more than any other game up to that point in my albeit-short lifetime. Eventually I found one after months of searching. I got to the store around 8:00 p.m. and the cashier lets me look at the $59.95 cart-only copy of Chrono-Trigger traded in earlier in the day. That's when I noticed a burn mark next to the cartridge slot. It was probably from a console overheating, but for the longest time kid-me thought it was a cigarette burn. "Is it still full price?", I asked. "You want it or not," he responded. I bought it after a minute of waffling. No regrets. One of the top-5 best video game-related decisions in my lifetime.
  9. It really depends on if you are expecting anything from the features and capabilities of the service/client part of the store (and what you are expecting). Epic released a roadmap publicly: https://trello.com/b/GXLc34hk/epic-games-store-roadmap I've not heard any recent complaints about the store itself (though I've not purchased anything). I can't speak to other concerns (e.g., spyware, handling of DRM, half-baked launch).
  10. I joined NA after it was already in full swing (2013 I think). For a variety of personal and professional reasons was only able to lurk and post intermittently. That said, I had an awesome time reading about everything from japanese consoles, to prototypes, homebrews, and everything in between. This may not be the NA site, but I already recognize every second or third poster in the forum. A huge thank you to everyone that had a hand in creating this site!
