  1. Here's a pretty good cheap Star Wars ripoff (and it also steals from the Seven Samurai).
  2. 37 is the new 42. *Goes off and burns down the local forest.*
  3. I decided to replay Banner of the Maid and catch a few things I missed - I am about 1/2 way through and things started to slow up again. So I saved and closed out the software fully - then reloaded and things were back to normal. Makes the gameplay much quicker!
  4. Here is an obscure Felix the Cat piece of trivia from the very very early days of television. https://www.poynter.org/reporting-editing/2014/today-in-media-history-in-1928-felix-the-cat-began-testing-a-new-tech-called-television/
  5. I have bought lots of stuff from Deep Discount and have never had a problem of any sort with them. Their prices used to often be a bit better than Amazon - but that doesn't seem to be as true anymore. Although they do run 15% off once in awhile which means you can still beat Amazon prices if you take the time to compare the two.
  6. When I was very young (long before even video tapes) the local independent tv station used to run cheap Italian swords and sandals movies (which were even more cheaply dubbed and re-edited) on Saturday afternoons. One set that they ran repeatedly was a bunch that AIP syndicated as entries in "The Mighty Sons of Hercules" . There were 13 of these gems and none (in Italy) originally featured a son of Hercules - although 2 did originally have Hercules as the star. Very few of the sword and sandals movies hold up today (although there were a few good ones) - and these turkeys (in reflection) we
  7. This is going to be released by Super Rare Games on March 4th.
  8. Apparently you can get a version in Alaska called the Danali - which adds a fish fillet to the stack.
  9. I haven't yet - just now found out about it. They have had large sandwichs before with three or four meats that were pretty good. And I like their 1/2 pound classics a lot.
  10. It is not on the menu but is a "secret menu" item that costs $10. This is what is in it: The Meat Mountain Sandwich. The biggest sandwich Arby's has ever sold. Stacked ridiculously high with almost all the meats. Two chicken tenders, slices of roast turkey, pit-smoked ham, corned beef, 13-hour smoked brisket, USDA-choice Angus steak, roast beef, and pepper bacon.
  11. Here ya go - meet the "Meat Mountain" from Arby's.
  12. I suspect ebay at first backed sellers (albeit passively in that they essentially did nothing - which favored scumbag sellers since they were able to make off with their swag) since that is where they directly collected ebay's swag from the sellers (whether legit or not). I suspect what happened is that the levels of problematic seller behavior got so bad even they could not continue to ignore it and therefore changed the rules so buyers had confidence and also the bad sellers would rack up negatives to adequately reflect their crappy behavior. Ebay still does nothing to back up thei
  13. That has been in place for awhile - way back when it was pretty easy for sellers to not ship goods or defective goods (sometimes the wrong one - I once ordered a dvd and got a different one - it was cheap and I actually liked the one I got more instead) - ebay/paypal at that time didn't help at all if you wanted your money returned. Yeah - you could leave negative feedback but you were pretty much guaranteed to get the same in return* - and ebay back then (as now) just didn't want to be bothered with actually resolving feedback issues. It was safer not to leave any feedback since the deed wa
