Probiotics are your friend. Add that to your diet to start healing your body. Don't just take a pill, chug yogurt drinks. I'm not a licensed medical practicioner so take that into consideration, but probiotics do help fix this type of stuff.
Edit: I should add, I've had tons of problems off and on downstairs in the rear for years, starting with a vicious bout of c.dif I likely got from cleaning my grandmother's bathroom years ago. That led to colitis and then tons of powerful drugs that got my gut flora off. Throw in terrible sanitation here in Taiwan, led to clenching and shitting and everything else in between. Probiotics generally have been a life saver.

Health problems suck, I can relate. I guess the only thing regarding eating better is figure some game plan that will allow you to transition and stick with it, while simultaneously not feeling like a chore.

If you look at the initial thread, Al gives many reasons for what he did, even suggesting that something had to change or he'd have to walk away from it all / shut the place down. I get that feeling entirely, I've been in that situation before and my only regret was that I wasn't able to take a paycheck to go along with things.

I don't know your age, but I've personally taken quite a beating over the past year or so, my body that is. It really sucks and it gets you depressed as hell. Whatever the issue is, just keep fighting man, maybe something good will come if it all!

I've been enjoying your blog entries, and really enjoyed this one as well as the previous one on flash games. These entries brought back a lot of great memories of a time that feels like a lifetime ago. Keep up the great work!

Nice guess, but a true Englishman would never demean himself by stooping to imitate a Scotsman.
Definitely is OptOut. My SS recipient... well hand-picked with intimate info only OptOut would know.

Great job on this! Very interesting.
I'd love to be interviewed by @Reed Rothchild

This is pure gold: "watching it is like deep throating a bald eagle while farting the national anthem"
I really wish @OptOut would write fiction, he honestly has a way with words sometimes, where it's just put so brilliantly...
Man, that was a lot of fun reading this interview. We've been through so much, the good, the bad, the ugly.
Pizza Rock though, gotta disagree there...they put mushrooms in their "American" pizza, which imo should just be cheese and pepperoni...only a Canadian would do that
Met the guy numerous times though, the flagstaff shop is just two minutes walking from mine. The best (readily available) pizza in Taiwan, though the best I've personally had here is Monster Pizza (though they're only available in my city). Pizza Rock is good as there's nothing better for expat taste locally, but if he were doing it in the States, he'd be closed by now

I'm getting a really cool idea here... anyone be into making custom levels, saving them on tapes, then swapping them to others? Could add artwork, sort of like 2021 mix tapes, only with game stages.

Honestly?
Yeah, I think honestly...
I'm always interested in the hero / heroine romances in games. Aren't you?

Can you tell me more about character #1335? He is my favourite. What's he like? How old is he? What weapons and/or powers does he use to defend the Nintendo Universe?
Does Nate-Dawg have a girlfriend?

Nice! New characters

as for lists most are public as i have or in the works of owning what is listed so no challenges from other collectors. for the part not listed only the select few have or can have..
Same style as me then!

That's fair enough
i think the goal should be to try to make a comprehensive list, do you have a master list (and is it something you share or keep private?) I take a somewhat central stance on that

I really don't like the term "indie" for these as that term is more a product of today's gaming landscape than of the games of yesteryear, such as Wisdom Tree, etc. It will ultimately (imo) just cause confusion, if you start to track games being made today, which are sometimes referred to as homebrew or indie. Maybe I'm the only one that sees a difference between those carts of before and those of now.
Anyways , there's a lot more of these for b/W Gameboy

I've always enjoyed this one.

My ex-girlfriend's sister used to date a guy, I'll call him Fred for lack of a better name. Fred, like many Taiwanese, rarely drank anything but he also had fatty liver disease by the time he was 28. The cause? According to the doctor, it was apparently because he was eating too much stinky tofu!
On a different note, it seems as though acupuncture is good for the treatment of liver cirrhosis. I don't necessarily suggest to shun western medicine and techniques, but from my personal experiences, the western medicines and techniques are sometimes like nuking a fly.
