Thanks. Some were a grind for sure. And no I never recorded them. I good a playing these games not so good at figuring out how to record them efficiently.
Looking for any Mega Man NES hacks and home brews I don’t have.
I’m a CIB collector so prefer CIB but loose is alright too.
What I have:
Mushroom Kingdom - CIB
Battle of Gamma (Time Walk) - CIB
Ultra (Time Walk) - CIB
Mega Man 10 promo - CIB
Minus Infinity -CIB
No Constancy - loose
I never attempted it, but it’s the only one I haven’t done besides 10 which I had at one time started grinding out. As good as I am at Mega Man games, that skiing part in Frost Mans level kicks my ass all the time. I could see that ending my runs a lot.
I was on Nintendoage for many years pretty active and joined here after that site was bought out and ruined. Haven't logged on here in a while but I’m back for the time being at least. May attempt to add to my CIB NES collection and always searching for Mega Man hacks and homebrews I don’t already have. Might also continue my no death runs as well that I documented on NA then here.
Been a while since I have been on here. But I no deathed Zelda and grinded out the second quest as well.
First quest was easy really. I have played through that game so many times that it just really wasn't too much of a challenge. Nothing really hung me up and I believe as I am writing this over a month later that I did it first try.
Second quest however was a grind. I haven't beaten it nearly as many times as I have the first quest. I forgot about a few spots that were tricky that got me locked in a room like a spot in level 4 going into a room with 3 dodongos and having like 2 bombs left. So much farming for rupes to get items needed that when I did mess up I had to do a lot of that over again. Once I got enough heart containers and the letter for the potions it wasn't so bad.
Not sure what I'll try next. I love Zelda 2 but not sure I stand a chance at that nor do I really want to take the effort to do it.
Haven't been on in a while but I'll still answer. I think I like the grind of doing these runs. Most take multiple tries before it happens. But in a way the more I grind out a game the more precise I become with each segment too. The sense of accomplishment to add a game to my list is part of it as well.
