Yeah, I really thought it was a legit seal, but I am not going to question Jonebone about Genesis' seals (or any seals for that matter). Jonas knows his seals better than almost anyone in the hobby. Hopefully, he chimes back in here and tells what was off about this Madden's seal.

A very belated Congrats to you on this find! It is crazy 2 years after you found this and was taking offers forever for it, this "worthless" game has turned into (a) pure gold/half million dollar game! Hopefully, you ended up keeping it!

This puts some favorable context to how low that number really is, compared to other graded collectibles. Luka Doncic 2018 Prizm hits over 10,000K (14,000 total in all grades as of a year ago) PSA 10 pop This is just 2018 PSA 10's Luka Sonic Prizm rookie cards (many more grading companies out there for cards). More of them in about the same amount of time WATA have been grading, than all Nes graded games combined from WATA in the same time span. Just food for thought as to how rare sealed games really are in the grand scheme of things and compared other other collectibles.

this is true but if you add BGS and SGC graded Jordan Fleer rookies to the total, it swell to over 30,000 graded Jordan rookie cards out there!

I know that you have been talking about this game for a while now and you might be on to something/correct about it, because it is currently leading the pack at $3,750. Good call on this one! Sports games are rising in price.

This is from a big time sports cards collector/Youtuber who has recently entered the video game hobby.

I am seeing a lot of activity on Ebay with sealed Nes games being bought and/or taken down/price adjusted. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out, when the dust has settled a little.

Very interesting/surprising to see that Super Mario Bros 2 is the rarest of the 3 Super Mario Bros by a pretty large number. I honestly thought it would have been Super Mario Bros. Of course Super Mario Bros will always be the most desired of the 3 for obvious reasons.

Very nice pickup! The first truly great basketball game on any system and a Konami release! It sold well at the inaugural Goldin Auctions and with more sports card collectors entering the hobby, I can see this title being even more desired (low Pop Count) in the very near future.

A big shout out/thank you to WATA Games for releasing the POP report! I think this will have a significant and positive effect on the video community/hobby.

I agree 100%. Sealed Nes games are also much more rare than graded sports cards and action figures by a wide margin.
