After a few weeks of feeling bitter about my shelf fiasco I finally came to terms with the fact that it was my own fault because I didn't put enough anchors when I installed it in the first place. And I decided to put it back up but to do it right this time. FIVE ANCHORS and bigger ones than what I used last time. Back in place and other than the comically large dent on MHS2, you wouldn't even know what happened. Also I've had this long Nintendo retail sign sitting on the floor for months and finally I just decided to stick it to the door. This is the Nintendo room, let's be clear about that. This is my Zoom background believe it or not Lastly, I continue to hunt for these Pac Man Party variants. If I see em sealed at a nice price, I grab them. These were less than $25 each in separate eBay finds. More for the pile!

New arrivals Definitely had to grab all the My Nintendo Pikmin 4 rewards and also this SNES ornament was on sale when I was browing the shop so I decided to get that too Various limited print games that finally arrived plus a few deals that I snapped up and also I fomo'd into Tunic after seeing it posted here Still getting my regular Nintendo Force deliveries, also happy that Frogun CE finally arrived. Picked up a couple Game Boy games that I was wanting for a long time after I finally found prices I was happy with. And the Squinkies was one of those things I had been seeking for a long time that finally popped up on the bay for a nice price. I really don't need more retail display stuff but I happened to see these listed on eBay for real cheap in a bundle and these posters are right up my alley so I copped them. They will probably go high up on the wall in a row. Lastly here's a couple gifts I got for my birthday. I also got a synthesizer but that's not relevant here. Excited to finally play the new Kirby!

Believe it or not these are hard to find. I never see them with the outer box and the original figures included.

There's no reversing this kind of damage =( I can play around with massaging those corners so they look nicer but the signs will always be there. Just going to get over it and move on.

I have nothing but bad news to share today. Haven't even wanted to post this for a while, just been sad. First, I did a massive trade with someone on Reddit, traded 3 out of print Switch games (combined value $280) for a bunch of stuff I wanted, same value. Here's everything I was going to receive: The two starter editions are without the games, and I asked the other person to swap Fun Fun Animal Park for 88 Heroes at the last minute, but otherwise those games are all brand new and this was about $280 worth of stuff as I calculated it. Well, it's been a few weeks since this was mailed out and the package is lost. USPS tracking even shows that it arrived at my local post office and then went out again somehow and that was 2 weeks ago. I opened a case, opened a missing mail search request, I even spoke to a post office representative over the phone... nothing. I've given up hope, it's gone. Then while I was traveling out of town my wife lets me know that something happened in my home office and a bunch of games fell on the floor. Turns out a floating shelf I had put up wasn't as secure as I thought it was, it came loose and everything that was on it fell 6 feet onto my wooden floor. I had a bunch of games on it that were in protective boxes except for about 10 games that were sealed and I thought could do without the extra protection. Those games are all dented now. It's just one after another of sealed games that were mint and now are not mint. (there's more but you get the idea) And yeah now I have a stack of games on a chair in my office and nowhere to put them. Between these 2 incidents I'm just burned out. Don't feel like trading anything, don't have the energy to try and put the shelf up again, just depressed. Feels like I'm out a lot of money. That's all.

Like @a3quit4s said, Bestine / heptane on a Q-tip. Moisten the whole thing, then rub gently to see if it comes off. If it doesn't you can then try getting your nail under that bottom left corner and slowly peeling it while moistening the remaining sticker with Bestine. Once you get a little bit up, you can start rubbing the Q-tip with Bestine along the underside where you are peeling it. It will seep toward the adhesive and loosen it as you go. Most important thing to do is go slow and never let it get too dry.

I use Bestine because I bought a canister of it when I first learned about it and I'm still using the same canister today. It hasn't run out yet.

Another one in the books! These were the gnarliest stickers I've ever dealt with. Old, really thick, some of them were like the stickers you put on a skateboard... I have no idea what these stickers were for but man were they hard to remove. I used a lot of Bestine with paper towels and then followed up in a few places with alcohol. End result came out really good!

Various things that have arrived since my last post Found out about this Pac Man x 7-Eleven collection and couldn't resist getting some new threads. I'm a sucker. Learned about this promotional thing via eBay and waited a while to nab one at a decent price. Here's what's inside: This ACNH guide took forever to finally get printed. I was sitting on my preorder for a long time. I don't even see myself going back to the game at this point. Various things that were on sale on Amazon. I didn't need them but the deals got me. Finally scored a Korean Nintendogs. It's got some wear but it's the first time I've seen one at a decent price. I still collect My Nintendo rewards. I'm still at a full set and chugging along. There's some other recent pickups that I didn't take pictures of, like the hardcover Breath of the Wild guide, and other stuff I'm forgetting. But this is the one big purchase I made recently: I could have had this for less if I had pulled the trigger a couple years ago. I paid the premium for waiting. This is the last big purchase that I felt FOMO about. Probably no more expensive purchases for me. I have it and I can stop thinking about it now. That's all until next time!
