I genuinely don't want to know what that bear has seen.... -
Gave it a 5. I was more into the NFS games of that era Hot Pursuit and High Stakes were a blast. I didn't really appreciate the Turismo games until GT3. Played the hell outta that one tho.

Congrats guys, keep up the good work!

Loved SML2, but it's tough to compare it to SMB2 let alone 3. The NES games were just bigger and better, but that's not a slight at SML2 at all

Never played pikmin before, but I'm in

SMW is not great if you compare it to SMB3... Also, SMB2 stuff

You ready for a waste of time? How about a sport that isn't even real... Pro Wrestling. *takes defensive cover* -

Hey, don't you talk bad about SML3. I loved that game. Bull rushing enemies with Wario was awesome. Lol -

Shredder's Revenge. A lot of fun, took about 2 hours to play through the story. I played some online co-op, and I think 4 players is the most I enjoy playing with at a time. It's neat that 6 can play at a time, but it's just too much going on at once. Anybody else check this out yet?

Show me athletic competition and I'm there. Damn near anything except soccer (most boring shit ever). But if there's drinks, food, and other people watching, you can even get me to sit through a soccer match. If you are content to just view sports at the most simplistic face value, then sure. Your take is adequate. But if you consider the preparation, strategy and effort put forth by each side, then you're suddenly viewing something deeper. "Man vs man" is one of the most prominent forms of conflict in all storytelling, and you're able to witness it play out on a public stage. Each competitor is their own person with their own personal hurdles and lives outside of their given sport. And yet there they are striving towards a common goal (however trivial you may find it to be). If you follow a team or specific athlete for any period of time you may find yourself curiously invested in whether or not they succeed. The personalities you like become the ones you root for. Look a little deeper and you might find you're caught up in something bigger than yourself, and you may just enjoy it. Find some friends that also enjoy it, and feel the camaraderie during the highs and lows of a season. Or don't -

Man. Sincerely a tough pick. Donut Plains are cool because of the number of alternate paths, the first star road, the first ghost houses, the first chance to get the feather. Vanilla Dome has the best overworld music and an awesome atmosphere. Forest of Illusion has some cool level puzzles and good music Star Road was so mysterious back in the day and had some tough levels Valley of Bowser has probably the coolest atmosphere. The lighting crashes and silhouette were a little unnerving as a kid. On my first play through, Valley of Bowser took the cake. Tough to forget that feeling. Pure nervous excitement. But nowadays, I think I like Star Road the most. I didn't like it as much when I was younger because I didn't really understand the star map and how to open each path, or how to open the extra levels. But as an adult, those are fun and satisfying to beat. -
My Aunt Sent Me An NES Classic As A Surprise But...
Br81zad replied to AirVillain's topic in General Collecting Discussion
Years ago my aunt went to the store and told one of the workers she was there to buy a playboy for me... He told her she must be thinking of a "gameboy". I'll never forgive him for correcting her. -
Which games are made better or worse by 100% completion?
Br81zad replied to Lynda Monica's topic in The Gauntlet
That's pretty damn close. All the rampages and side missions done too? Pay phones, taxi, ambulance, fire, police, etc? I think the closest I ever got was with Vice City. Love that game -

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've always kinda viewed it as the unofficial halfway point in the game. It's a real shame we didn't get a true Mario entry late in the SNES lifecycle. Yoshi's island was a great example of what was possible, but it never felt like a Mario game. -

I keep seeing the baseline time to beat SMB3 while playing all the levels is 2.5 hrs. I'm calling bullshit. It's gotta be closer to 4+ hrs for most people. Likely 6 hrs or more for noobs and casuals. (Which we all were at some point) But seriously, I don't suck, and I still feel like it takes 2 hours just to get to the tower that leads to the clouds. And there's still a whole lot of game left after that. Anyway. SMW is better. Carry on. -

Has anyone here ever tried to 100% a GTA game. I was going to stipulate 3 or higher, but even the PS1 titles would be brutal to try for 100%. -

And it's only found in 1 damn level in the ENTIRE game. (Also, paddling the little canoe is fun for about 30 sec) -

Super Mario World is clearly superior in every single way, but SMB3 is a great game. Your take is wrong. Lol -
This looks fantastic! Just placed an order, can't wait to play it.

7/10 definitely overhyped, but it is an enjoyable film.
