  1. Quoted from another thread, but... I would strongly advise against this. New collectors shouldn't get so wound up about getting burned no matter how bad it may have been. You never know what that seller/resell/store might have down the road and burning them to the ground over one transaction is simply not worth it. People/places that have bad service are eventually going to close down. I had a very bad experience at two stores in the past, one more recently than the other. One store had damaged the NES pins and refused to refund me. I took store credit and got some items I still have to this day. Another store had a crappy attitude when I asked about their higher end items I was genuinely interested in purchasing. Although their items were marked up beyond the going rate I was not going to negotiate with the level of service displayed by the owner. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe they were annoyed they had to talk to a customer since their employee couldn't provide pricing information. All I know is one day they might have something I'd want to overpay for and if I had "left their reputation in shambles" I know I'd never get the chance to buy something again.
  2. You're missing the box. PM @fsped09he may have have one
  3. Hey man, for a small fee, I'd be happy to follow up on little reminders like this. PM me if you're interested.
  4. I've seen District 9. I was poking fun at @Gloves
  5. Oh I haven't seen Life is Beautiful in some time, but what a good movie. Toy Story 3 snuck up on people, same as Up's opening minutes.
  6. Anytime I look around and I'm on the higher end of known sales makes me nervous. I always have to remind myself certain items are limited and don't get listed as often or may never be seen again in as good of a condition as I'm looking at. When it's all said and done and the item arrives, I'm over the regret of spending whate ever I did, provided the item arrived as described.
  7. When it came out, Super Mega Baseball was very fun. Feels very close to a grown up Back Yard Baseball from PC a long time ago. NFL Blitz was a very fun game. Probably a 9, but I gave it a 10 as it's easy for anyone to pick up and play and it's an extremely fun game.

  9. The game/level has mini balls and big flippers
  10. I'm going to guess Cuphead since you mentioned unlikeable characters and button mashing. I know I''m wrong lol
  11. This particular sticker adds nothing to that manual. No game store name, location... nothing. Not only that, it's large and just obnoxious. The rental store stickers I like are these... not my pictures. I can give Blockbuster a pass though.
  12. It's about it showing a store that used to exist. I have a game that was used in some summer camp in central Florida. It's a glimpse of what used to be.
  13. People do what they do to make money. It's shell, label and board. If there's a sticker on a game, so be it, but it doesn't do anything to help mark it as a legit copy. I don't rely on a sticker to help identify a real game from a fake. We are talking about collecting as a whole... I have not seen a sticker on a fake game, but to say it helps is misleading.
  14. @fcgamer Not sure why you would think it helps verify a game being legit. Care to explain?
  15. What gets me is people removing blockbuster and rental store stickers. To each their own, but there's people that appreciate those too, look around before removing them!
  16. It can come off as lazy, but over time I've realized sometimes it's not so easy for some to look stuff up. Some people may find Rarity Guide, which was a thing some time ago. If someone is looking to sell and price their games according to that site, they are going to price too low. Also, there's a lot of information out there that is just simply wrong or can be misleading, so it doesn't hurt to ask a community that may know the answer.
