I had some experience with the Saturn when it was contemporary. I had a friend in high school that swiped a display model from Circuit City. It wasn't in a case or anything. He just unhooked it from the tv and walked out the door with it. No one said a word. Anyway, my most memorable experiences are with Virtua Fighter. I had played it in the arcade and it was the SF II and MK killer for me. And then Tekken came out and it was pretty great too, though it seemed derivative at the time. So my group of friends would go back and forth between the VF and Tekken series on the Saturn and the P. Then Sony released the dual analog joysticks as well as Tekken 3 and the Saturn was left in the dust. 5

That is the screen right after the first boss in the Gemini revisited level. Immediately before the boss battle there are two rooms with walls of egg/tadpole enemies that literally force you to farm. There's no excuse going into the battle without maxed weapon energy.

Can't quite give it a 10. I'll play it whenever I come across the arcade and probably play it on Nintendo once or twice a year. Certainly a game everyone should play. And of course you can't discount its HiStOrIcAl sIgNiFiCaNcE. No DK, no Mario.

Just wrapped it up. I enjoyed quite a bit. Sci fi novellas are right up my alley. Not sure if I can really compare to Edge of Tomorrow. It's been a few years and I need to give it a rewatch. But it definitely speaks to me as a gamer. Particularly as an analog to my current game, Battle Kid 2.

Knee jerk reaction based on 30 seconds of gameplay footage from a 20+ year old commercial that I can barely recollect is the bare minimum for me to objectively rate a console. I'd give the PS9 a 9.5 if memory serves.
