  1. Pretty standard point-n-click adventure. You make your way through all of the scenes which are essentially lifted straight from the movie and animated Terry Gilliam style. It's pretty funny.
  2. 10. Any nerd worth their salt will tell you the same. I can see why it's the "overrated" Python movie but it legit deserves the praise. I've watched a ton (all?) of the Flying Circus and all the movies, and I can always rewatch Holy Grail.
  3. Fuck that. I respect it. Tunic reeks of secret depth. But my old ass has no patience for that shit. I totally internetted that page and most of the fairies. It was honestly pissing me off near the end. And the final boss fight was too hard.
  4. Tunic is an 8.49 for me. I'm not quite to the point that everyone should play it, but I could be swayed upon a replay. Highly recommended regardless. Interested in all the rest. We'll see if I get around to any of them.
  5. Just wrapped up Tunic. Gotta say it lives up to the hype even if I was a little reserved going in. Deliberately designed to drop you into the world with zero context, it genuinely feels like the first time you powered up the Legend of Zelda uninformed by decades of sequels. Obviously it's derivative but Tunic is unique enough to stand on it's own. It definitely has a Fez vibe to it as well. Not quite so whimsical, Tunic has a more serious tone. But the developer explicitly spoke on the influence. Totally worth owning a physical copy and the game almost demands it. Highly recommended.
  6. Update: I regret nothing! My years of scoffs are justified with a BIG THANKS to @T-Pac. Dude sent a surprise package the other day. Lo and behold, I now have my very own copy of Duck Tales 2 (au français)! Along with a T-Pac original Robot Scrooge McDuck drawing. So cool.
  7. Is that picture intended to be the final score, or do we include the points awarded after you defeat him and on the clear screen as well?
  8. 4th best and the last great Super Mario game. 10
  9. He never found the real killer or killers. I guess we'll never know.
  10. 2016 is more authentic and fresh to me. I like the new flicks too, but it feels like they're painted with the Disney/Marvel/Star Wars brush. Nostalgia cash-in all the way. Which is great because they're bustin ghosts, just like new Star Wars 78&9 are great because they have lightsabers and space battles.
  11. I can respect that 2016 is obnoxious or isn't your particular brand of humor. I'll even agree that Ghostbusters is a much better and smarter film. But it certainly has it's own juvenile jokes. Which is fine by me for both movies.
  12. Great video. I'm always a little amazed how tech like this gets lost through the ages. Thanks for sharing that.
  13. So ghost BJs and dickless Walter Peck jokes are the pinnacle of smart comedy but you draw the line at fart jokes? (The queef was implied.) Ghostbusters is a 10 for sure, and the best of the franchise by a mile, but we're not talking Shakespeare here.
  14. 2016 is legit funny and we watch it almost as frequently as the OG. And Chris Hemsworth is hysterical as Kevin. I get it if Melissa McCarthy puts some people out but what about this movie is bad? My impression is that people just saw "Girl Ghostbusters" and generally flew off the handle without giving it a real shot. 2016 is mostly played for laughs and it delivers.
  15. It's a 6 for the Bobby Brown song alone. Plus they drive the Statue of Liberty with the NES Advantage. It had some great scenes (the courtroom) and I liked Vigo the Carpathian, but it falls a little flat. Still decent and nostalgia puts it on par with the two new movies, but it's the weakest entry of the franchise if I'm being objective. Ghostbusters > Ghostbusters 2016 > Ghostbusters 2 ≥ Ghostbusters ≥ Ghostbusters Frozen Empire ≥ Ghostbusters Afterlife
  16. Absolute favorite TV show of all time. First 9 seasons are all killer. Got started day one with the Tracy Ulman shorts and was super excited when the show was announced. My crew of friends were watching religiously by the mid 90s. Remember when Fox ran back to back reruns every fucking day at 6 pm? And on Sundays you'd get at minimum three episodes. The golden age... But I generally have the same take as Reed; Season 10 jumped the shark and it's never been the same. And while that era isn't great, I'd say the show really tanked when it went to HD in Season 20. That was the last season I really paid any attention to. The animation became too slick and stiff. The early seasons had some of my favorite animation in any cartoon. It had a great fluid action and slightly surreal quality. Twister mouths rule. This is how you should pronounce Robot btw. Still an occasional good good episode though. The Treehouse usually hits one of the three stories and I'm a sucker for Kang and Kodos. And the Lego episode is pretty amazing. But I don't go out of my way to watch new episodes. Do the Bartman reference before I dip.
  17. @galacticlint is that you?
  18. Pretty much all valid opinions in here. And I'm certainly not above clicking on dumb shit on the internet, that's what it's for. But I'm not an outlier by any means. I don't know if any of you peruse the vehicle sales but it's common to see a car or motorcycle that is just a little too good to be true, and when you look at the seller they've posted the same $1200 2015 Honda across multiple states. It's always a relatively normal unassuming legit profile and you kinda just wonder why they're scam posting. It's really weird. Anyway, I got an update. My profile is unlocked but now I'm banned from the marketplace.
  19. LMFAO. I want to hear the story of how to get the house husband gig. You're living the dream, man. I was a record/movie store bro. But def frequented @Richardhead's lq. I used to be 'tarded but I'm a treasury banker now.
