  1. Craigslist, Facebook Market place, and of Course KLOV Online Forums. Have fun, they take up a lot of room, and they require work/parts/maintenance from time to time. If you plan on moving within the next few years I would wait to start till after.
  2. I have asked myself this Same question many times. My thought is as follows. I believe you are dead on right with the collectors of the NES - SNES Era, they are getting older, their financial goals are changing and they are loosing the nostalgic value they once had or at the very least loosing interest in games that did not hold a special place umpteen years ago. As the later gens (Most Recent Gamecube) come to age of having a decent paying job and some purchasing power cash in on their nostalgia, we see the Gamecube prices skyrocket. etc. I think there will be a day in the future when these long time collectors (Including myself) will just begin to offload our collections, or they will start showing up in masses at estate sales, and as you know the more the supply the less the demand, therefore the less it costs. I'm sure some collectors of Sports cards were asking these questions decades ago, and sure as shit the bottom fell right out on that one. I think there will "Always" be titles that will hold real value regardless (Stadium Events ;)) regardless just as Mikey Mantle's Rookie does today, but the rest will fall out and possible either fill up some landfills or respawn the collecting craze allover again being cheap and affordable and fun. the only way I think you will keep these prices going up over the long haul is to get legislation passed that makes the sales exampt from tax, then you will be seeing them used for true investment holdings like Art.
  3. Thanks for the Suggestion, I was really hoping someone would have an idea at what explicit feature of Windows 10 was triggering so I could look into a way of disabling it or uninstalling it all together, I think the next time I reformat the laptop I will just use an Older version and disable and gut the Feature Updates, I never get any use whatsoever from them anyways. As for using a USB B/Power Adapter the issue resides in the location of a Socket relative to where I sit, and the length of a cord needed for it. I could of course buy a longer cord, but just seems like such a hassle when I used to just be perfectly content with my laptop sitting next to me and conveniently being able to just plug in when needed. I guess if I can't find a solution it might just be the perfect motivation to swap that laptop over to Linux, or Dual boot at the least.
  4. So I have always used the Pro Controller, the Joycons are put away. When batteries begin to get low I used to just plug the controller into the USB of my laptop sitting next to me, and i could keep playing while it slowly charged the controller. Now whatever Updates happened with Windows 10 When I plug the controller in A Blue Ring appears on the controller and the damn thing looses synch with the Switch. What feature is this in Windows 10? Where can I disable this crap so The Pro Controller Just charges? My Company Laptop Is Windows 10 and I have no issues charging off that one, but would like to get my personal one back to the state it was previously. Thanks!
  5. I was at small video game shop many years ago and found a copy of R.C. Pro AM II CIB, had no idea it even existed tried to purchase the game in Store but the lady stated it wasn't ready to be sold and gave me a bunch of attitude as to why it was on the self I had no clue. The last time I ever stepped foot in the store I was trying to purchase some game forgot exactly what it was, Had a price Sticker on it, in the glass display case. Offered to purchase the woman pulls the game out and rings up a total $5 greater than the sticker (We don't have sales tax in my state) I asked for an explanation as to why the sticker price was different and she exclaimed the values change..... I declined the sale and promptly left. I advise staying away from "Recycled Video Games" in Newport OR.
  6. "With two days of non-stop action, from the Chevy Ride & Drive and Xbox Forza 2 tournament to the NOPI Drift" My guess is at this event they brought an Xbox with Forza 2 and held a tournament, and that trophy is from that event. The article is dated 2006, and it was not uncommon to see Xbox tournaments being held during those years it was just a popular thing to do. The countless Halo tournaments I saw being held in Parking lots back then. As I suspected, They state in this article the Event had an Xbox Tournament: https://www.paulstravelpictures.com/NOPI-Nationals-2006-Atlanta-Import-Car-Show/
  7. Guessing it had something to do with this Event https://www.motortrend.com/features/modp-0609-nopi-nationals-2006/
  8. The World Of Nintendo Fiber Optic Sign I bought for $200
  9. I'll just go ahead and upload for your reference, is there anything you would like me to test for you? Also keep in mind that photo was taken today, so the device still works after nearly 20 years. I did have to clean the contacts to get it to boot, and ensure it was snug.
  10. That is a custom cabinet, no friggin way that is a Sanyo EZ-20 Monitor in that thin cabinet, and willing to bet that's a printed translite Marquee and CPO to boot! There was a Single Monitor Conversion kit manufactured for use with the Mario Bros. Dual Player cabs, but those are rare as all get out an really not worth the money. the value of a PlayersChoice 10 & Nintendo Cabs in general is all around the Authentic of the Hardware and it's completion. Almost $2k for that is a rip off, I wouldn't pay more than $500 for that as the only thing I would want out of it is the hardware (If it is actually the Nintendo Unisystem Board), If you have $2k to burn hold out for the Dual Monitor Cab, as long as it's in decent condition and working, I think you will be much happier with a bit of patience.
  11. That Might be true, I do remember now that you really had to ensure the cartridge was in that damn thing tight or it would not boot correctly. Would you like me to pull out my old GameShark (now Action Replay) and snap a photo of the internals for you? I used it like normal and never had any issues of it failing that I could remember, and I have had that thing prior to 2004 (that i know for sure) and If the thing boots up and works that's an testament to durability I'd Say. You seem to be very interested in these variants, so If I can help, I have no issue in doing so. :)
  12. So I have the Game Shark that looks Identical to your Action Replay (Just a Gameshark Sticker), As Datel (Action Replay) is the original creator they licensed the patents to Interact (Gameshark). At some point in the GBA lifespan Interact was no longer licensed or out of business so they ceased production of the unit, Datel then Released an Update for the Unit that turned it effectively into an "Action Replay" allowing the users to continue to be able to get Code updates. I haven't used it in a few years but the last time i did it worked fine and I never had any issues with it other than the cheap housing that would always come apart but was easily snapped back together. As for the Gameshark SP, I am not familiar with that product.
  13. Working in the Lottery/Gaming industry, this app seriously concerns me. Gambling addictions are no laughing matter, they get serious enough to destroy peoples lives and tear families apart as any other serious addiction. These games are being designed to be highly addictive, and forcing someone to "Keep At It" for a ridiculous amount of time and exposure for such a little payout seems less about entertainment and more about developing a habit. To contribute to your list of "Types of Apps" I have seen there are several apps that apparently pay out for scanning receipts from Grocery Shopping in which I didn't see mentioned (Though i apologize if those were and I missed it)
  14. Are you working for IGT or Sci-Games?
  15. If i had to pick a favorite from aesthetics alone it would be Twilight Zone Hands down. Though for just overall enjoyment I spent allot of time years ago playing a pin called "Junk Yard", have still to this day only seen the pin in one location.
