  1. @twiztor hooked me up with my 194th CIB 64 game. He also included a Goldberg action figure, so opening this package felt like I was back in 1998. I also appreciate the Christmas card. Thanks again!
  2. My Secret Santa was @rdrunner. He put a lot of thought into these gifts and checked off two games on my list. I appreciate it! Merry Christmas!
  3. Looks like I'm not going to have enough time to get into the 2 million range. @0xDEAFC0DE, wow i'd like to see video of your combo skills. 2.7 million at level 17? @bertsampson, incredible scores!
  4. No mention of Super Mario World. However, you were more than generous with what you sent. Thanks again! I will let you know when I sample those tasty looking Doritos. I'm waiting for my brother to get into town to try them with me.
  5. Haha, Retro USB and their risqué 8-Bit Xmas cards! Glad you enjoyed the gifts and hopefully it wasn't too awkward when that was revealed.
  6. My Secret Santa was @fcgamer and he really hooked me up. I could tell he took a lot of time picking out these gifts because he shared his thoughts and some personal history of almost every piece he included. Thanks again Dave!
  7. View Listing 2010 8-BIT XMAS Sold! Up for sale is a rare 2010 8-BIT XMAS. This is in perfect working order and comes with the original card. I am the original owner of this and it has NO custom message. The generic message on the title screen reads “HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAVE FUN PLAYING THIS AWESOME GAME! FROM BRIAN AT THE RETROZONE”. The generic message in the card reads ““HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAVE FUN GAMING! FROM BRIAN AT THE RETROZONE”. This will also come with a custom box from NES-CITY. All the lights work great! I recently decided to shift my collecting focus to finishing off a couple other full sets that I’m close to completing. $350 (will give a big discount if you buy 2008-2010 from me all at once assuming all 3 are still available) Lister GameboyRicky Date 07/16/2020 Price $350.00 Category For Sale/Trade
  8. View Listing 2009 8-BIT XMAS Sold! Up for sale is a very rare 2009 8-BIT XMAS. This is in perfect working order and comes with the original card. I am the original owner of this and it has NO custom message. The generic message reads “MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM BRIAN AT THE RETROZONE” This is one of the few without a personalized message and will also come with a custom box from NES-CITY. All the lights work great! I recently decided to shift my collecting focus to finishing off a couple other full sets that I’m close to completing. $800 (will give a big discount if you buy 2008-2010 from me all at once assuming all 3 are still available) Lister GameboyRicky Date 07/16/2020 Price $800.00 Category For Sale/Trade
  9. View Listing 2008 8-BIT XMAS Sold! Up for sale is the elusive 2008 8-BIT XMAS. This is in perfect working order and comes with the original card. The original owner was our very own “Penguin”. The common consensus is that there were only about 50 of these made and I believe all of these were ordered with custom text. The custom text on this cart is “MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM PENGUIN AND NINTENDO AGE”. I bought this from Penguin just over 6 years ago and I recently decided to shift my collecting focus and finish off some other sets that I’m close to completing. The label has two light scratches near the bottom but all the lights work great. This will also come with two different types of custom boxes from NES-CITY. (original and updated box design) This cart also starred in Penguin’s Christmas Special that can be seen here: $1,500 (will give a big discount if you buy 2008-2010 from me all at once assuming all 3 are still available) Lister GameboyRicky Date 07/16/2020 Price $1,500.00 Category For Sale/Trade
  10. Am I new to what? Making and selling are two different things. These will be in limited production in comparison to cheaper sets priced between say $50-$100 and that are based on more recent pop culture. This particular set targets a very niche market of people like the people on this site.
  11. Awesome! I can't imagine they're going to make a ton of these with that price. I WILL be trying to get one!
  12. A while back, I decided to surprise my brother with a custom NES console I ordered:

  16. I've never really focused on SNES collecting but I have managed to accumulate over 200 carts throughout the past 10 years or so. However, up until recently I had never seen a stickerless back. I recently bought a bunch of games and 5 came with stickerless backs stating "assembled in mexico". I couldn't find much information researching on-line so I thought i'd ask here to see if anyone knew more about these. I'm guessing these were re-releases when Nintendo sent production to Mexico? Any ideas how many of different games were made this way?
  17. My Secret Santa was @ThePhleo and he really went above and beyond! He sent me a couple PS1 long box games and a manual I needed as well as my 189th and 190th CIB Nintendo 64 game! A big thank you for the generous assortment of gifts! You really knocked it out of the park! Merry Christmas!!! Thank you @captmorgandrinker for organizing this. This has always been one of my favorite traditions and I know there is a lot of work behind the scenes!
  18. Sure did, I'll post it here as soon as get it uploaded.
