The common consensus is that there were only about 50 of these made and I believe all of these were ordered with custom text. The custom text on this cart is “MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM PENGUIN AND NINTENDO AGE”. I bought this from Penguin just over 6 years ago and I recently decided to shift my collecting focus and finish off some other sets that I’m close to completing. The label has two light scratches near the bottom but all the lights work great. This will also come with two different types of custom boxes from NES-CITY. Am I new to what? Making and selling are two different things. These will be in limited production in comparison to cheaper sets priced between say $50-$100 and that are based on more recent pop culture. This particular set targets a very niche market of people like the people on this site.

I've never really focused on SNES collecting but I have managed to accumulate over 200 carts throughout the past 10 years or so. However, up until recently I had never seen a stickerless back. I recently bought a bunch of games and 5 came with stickerless backs stating "assembled in mexico". I couldn't find much information researching on-line so I thought i'd ask here to see if anyone knew more about these. I'm guessing these were re-releases when Nintendo sent production to Mexico? Any ideas how many of different games were made this way?
