  1. Well there is ONE exception I found. Back in the day it was so awesome when they played this version of the song with the "robot"! Sadly the video doesn't include the "robot"
  2. See? Wasn't I just as right as rain about how often you really need the video to truly do the song justice?
  3. Does music on records really sound distinctively "warmer" than on CDs? That's what I often hear.
  4. Add Man in the Mirror to your list...I love how historic and educational the video is...maybe we can get together and try to figure out what all the historical clips are!
  5. Oh I love all the patterns and such they did for the video! Extremely underrated video as it doesn't get nearly as much attention as his later videos from Thriller onward.
  6. I'm guessing the other four didn't make it up all that far though.
  7. Yes sir! Just goes to show contrary to popular belief, Ice was not a "one hit wonder"! He was a TWO hit wonder! I'm guessing now over 30(!!) years later it's not exactly the "new skool sound" anymore! Come to think of it, this song/video, which is credited with being the first rap/hip hop song/video, came out only about 12 years prior!
  8. Well I've often questioned why people loved that Hori Game Boy Player controller so much where the A and B buttons are so awkwardly positioned (try having your thumb tip on the B button and knuckle on A on a GC controller and you'll see what I mean). It's MUCH better to use a PS1 (NOT PS2!!) controller and a controller convertor so you much more comfortably have SQUARE as B and X as A. You know, how most SNES games have Y as "fire or run" and B as "jump"?
  9. Are there any Game Genie or other cheat codes to find out how high the level goes?
  10. You know that NES game Super Sprint? I always wondered how far you can go in that game...I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any sort of proper ending but there must be a "kill screen" of some sort.
  11. NOT!! Heart totally blows it away (and that's with decades past her prime years!)! I was hoping the Queen of Rock 'N Roll, Joan Jett might have also did a version of Stairway to Heaven but so far as I know, no such luck
  12. Indeed; I think on the Music Choice "Classic Country" station the cutoff is 25 years and I think in KY to get a historic or antique vehicle license plate (I forget which one) 40 years is the cutoff. I forgot to mention this but I was so thrilled in the late 90s when we got a classic country station and was exposed to a whole genre I otherwise would not have been able to experience as most country stations just play the same 40 songs over and over and over...
  13. Oh I loved listening to Rush back in my college days!
  14. I haven't bothered with any sort of radio for well over 10-15 years...why should I when I can play most any song/video I want on YouTube (plus I got a nice collection of downloaded music videos) and Music Choice has a bunch of different genres to pick from.
  15. I thought I did vote a few times...I guess for this one you want me to vote on the original or on Heart's version?
  16. And after 1993, only six times has a Canadian team made the Finals, and as you already said, none won the top prize.
  17. Remember that topic I made about many covers/remakes being better than the original? Well I definitely heart the way Heart does it!
  18. To drink from the Stanley Cup it takes YEARS of practice! There is NO frickin' way Canada will allow these to be sold branded as "Stanley Cups". I've no doubt to sell these in Canada they'll have to call them something different...after all the REAL Stanley Cup (there's actually three) has been their Holy Grail for over 100 years!
  19. Once upon a time, for over a hundred years, the Stanley Cup was not something you can buy with money. You had to EARN it with many, manyYEARS of practice and teamwork! I guess not anymore...
  20. No sir, kid's games can and should be given just as much care and effort into quality like any of the other gaming genres. So absoultley NOT a valid excuse.
  21. Fun fact: By marriage Frida (from ABBA) became a Countess! No foolin'! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anni-Frid_Lyngstad
