  1. My grandma is 91 and her mental capacities most definitely aren't what they used to be for sure. I mean don't misunderstand me I'm very fortunate to have had her and my grandpa (1927-2012) as long as I have and I've got to make all kinds of fond memories and such with them (I visit her to play cards with her on Sunday afternoons as we happen to be only 1/2 mile apart). You know losing my wife was bad enough but I've known my grandma my whole life and even if she manages to make it to 95 or even 100, I know whenever it's her time to check out it's gonna really suck balls
  2. Of course it's a LOT more fun to collect real silver (coins)!
  3. Yeah, that's exactly how I might be if I find out I missed one and can't get its trophy on that playthrough! These kind of trophies are a perfect example of "do it right or do it twice"! And yes this song right here is a perfect description of trying to get these missable trophies!
  4. Since it went on sale for 20% and I had some reward points to use, I finally went ahead and got Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster (PS4 of course)...I must say those item, chest, and beastiality trophies are sure gonna be tricky as it can be quite easy to miss one of the missables if you're not careful. I sure do hope at some point they do offer the GBA's super secret bonus dungeons and superbosses as DLC (with extra trophies to earn of course). But I'm guessing it's like my late grandpa would say, it's possible but not probable?
  5. Does it have to be pop? Like this song that was made into a movie! I really miss the old fashioned story telling songs: Not so fun fact: The real life Tallahatchie Bridge was burned down by vandals five years later. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money,_Mississippi
  6. I thought they were singing/saying, "Rock the fastball! Rock the fastball!" Just like how I thought that John Anderson "Money in the Bank" song said "I wish I had a fastball and a Z28"!
  7. That is country not pop! And indeed Toby was struck down with (more specifically) stomach cancer which is sadly what also killed Mister Rogers :,( I mean for the guy who sang in every episode "It's such a good feeling, to know you're alive..." you can imagine how especially awful it was for him and his wife :,(

  9. And where do you come up with that idea?
  10. Actually that was 2001. Use the year of the season, not the year the SB takes place. I do remember how in 2002 the Buccaneers (and later the 2009 Saints) finally won a Lombardi after being one of the laughing stocks of the league for most of their prior existence. And the Lions might have made the Big Dance this year if their fearless leader had done just one or two things just a teensy bit differently...
  11. It's interesting, it seems like only yesterday I was playfully teasing my wife in the leadup to the 2019 AFC Championship Game how sick everyone outside of New England was of the Patriots (they have gone to the Super Bowl four out of the past five times at this point) and what a refreshing change of pace it'd be for someone else to take the AFC pennant for a change! Now all of a sudden, it's the Chefs who have now gone to the Big Game four out of five times and now most everyone outside the KC area is sick of them!
  12. So after three years I decided to give this game another go around (sadly no trophies this time) and I was thinking this time (as I already married Gemma and Serena the first couple of times) of marrying the amazing Veronica...she does have that cute sassy spunk going for her after all. Still, I keep getting reminded over and over of just how perfect of a wife Serena would be.
  13. He sure does have the makings of a politician
  14. Oh I would've protest voted for Stevenson after I found out what Eisenhower said about cats (he ordered his staff to shoot on sight any poor kitty that wandered onto his property)! Oh wow, I didn't know Biden had a kitty! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willow_(cat) And she looks kinda like my dearly departed Tweetie! But this right here is an even cooler cat! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_(cat)
  15. If you're at least 35 you can vote for yourself!
  16. You do know that if a third party ever did come along that was strong enough to get some states in the Electoral College it might make it harder for either of the two major parties to get a majority in the EC and thus the election would get decided in the House of Representatives. You might want to be careful what you're wishing for...
  17. Yet he's been their PM for a little over eight years so far so he and his Liberal party must be doing something right?
  18. Yeah anybody with half a brain knows he did not mean either one literally! And I really thought the timing of unleashing that Access Hollywood tape just a few days before the second debate was exceptionally sus (as they call it nowadays). What the heck was the media doing just sitting on this for so long? Why didn't they report it as soon as it was discovered? And why did they wait until just before the second debate and not just before the first one? I know Bernard Goldberg's Bias book first exposed media bias back in the early 2000s but at least they TRIED not to make it so obvious. But oh boy did the MSM throw absolutely EVERYTHING negative they could at Trump hoping to ruin him, and still are. Trump will easily get the R nomination because his supporters are much hungrier than the ones for the other R contenders. As for the general election...remember it might not be Biden he's going against...it could instead be Harris.
  19. Yet how do you explain this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Accords And I imagine Iran would be on course to develop nuclear weapons anyway. And Jerusalem IS the capital of Israel. At least on my globe it's marked as such...
  20. Oh I distinctively remember one day going into a best buy and seeing both a Blu-Ray and HD-DVD player side by side for $1000(!!) each!! Is that how much DVD players started being back in the late 90s? Fun Fact: The first DVD I ever watched (on my then new PS2; I think it was 2001) was Thirteen Days. And the first ever DVD I ever watched with me and my (then future) wife was Outbreak.
