  1. It would be dope if you had the means to sandblast those and repaint them, fresh coat of fire engine red paint is truly beautiful!
  2. I would at least try to use the stores contact form to see if you can get a regular version at least, it’s been so long I doubt they have any of the extras left that you were supposed to get.
  3. Anyone else have the Analogue Duo and have problems ejecting CDs? Like I press the eject button and it sounds like it is doing something and the disc never comes out. Even when I can get it to pop out a little it never comes out more than a tiny bit? Google says other people are having the same issue and having to employ workarounds to….eject a cd? What a total fail
  4. How the crap do they have the Famicom version for sale in their store but you didn’t get a kickstarter copy?? https://projectblue.bigcartel.com/product/project-blue-famicom-cartridge
  5. I got my NES copy years ago, I can’t believe you are still waiting on the Famicom version
  6. Howdy do folks! Usually I post in the water cooler but I thought this might warrant a discussion. Neo Geo is way out of my league of knowledge and rather than Google myself to death I thought it might be fun to get some opinions of our esteemed members. So what say you? What is the best way to go about playing Neo Geo games in 2024? Emulate? AES vs. console modded MVS? Some sort of mini console? The best way may include more expensive options which I am not opposed to but I’m also probably not interested in trying to collect every game. Maybe just play some bangers? I can mod consoles no problem so is an AES with UniBios the way to go? I await your opinions with great interest!
  7. Wait this is an actual game and not an april fools joke lmaoooo
  8. Don’t be dunking on the newbies rookies
  9. I started a post awhile back to see if there was interest in getting some boxes needed from him. It turned out he had some stock left and the rest is history.
  10. Streets of rage vs Sonic was the real final lol
  11. Yoooo Amadeus is such a good movie! Evo is an odd game to have in the top 10 but I guess it just wasn’t my flavor of game.
  12. Had to get Spriggan to go along with my Rondo of Blood for PC Engine!
  13. Red Dead Redemption on Switch. I have it for other consoles but I thought it would be neat to replay it and be able to bring it with me to MGC to play during flights.
  14. @BeaIank is the NES classic legal for the weekly contest out of curiosity?
  15. My problem is probably more that I have no patience to try and play all week to improve my score. I just like the weekly contest because it gets me to play all the games that I never play. I don’t mind coming in last haha
  16. 9/10 it’s just fun as hell to play. NHL Hitz is a great time too
  17. I played the game but I suck something fierce so my score is lower than everyone’s
  18. Bumping this for less than two weeks away! I’m flying in Friday night and I’m gonna pick up my pass Friday night hopefully and wander around. I got the VIG pass so I can get in early Saturday and wander the vendor hall
  19. My speed of buying things has slowed down dramatically as well. Once I completed the full sets I was after the mailman was probably happy to not have to come to my door every day with 2-3 packages at a time. Now I’m lucky if I get anything new every week. I’m definitely buying more quality as well, I am over buying filler games to just complete a set. I’ve really been focusing on NES homebrew for some reason but did also just add Fire Emblem for GameCube as well. It’s really fun not just slagging through a set and buying whatever tickles your fancy. I’m excited to wander the vendor area at MGC in a couple weeks and see what catches my eye. I’ve got a couple things on a list but nothing crazy price wise.
  20. Ok so by happenstance I needed new NES box protectors and ordered 25 from both Video Game Box Protectors and Retro Protection. I’ve been buying from VGBP for years and I was shocked to learn, in my opinion of course, the Retro Protection ones are better. Last I checked they are exactly the same price but the RP protectors are slightly thicker and feel more sturdy. I’m in shock over here
  21. I was playing SMB3 on GBA for fun today and no joke died at least 10x on the stupid world 2 quicksand by the sun. I’m rusty as hell on SMB3
