  1. I saw this pic of your organizer, looks like it was official Atari merch!
  2. Yeah that wood paneled organizer is the real prize here!
  3. I've used them quite a bit over the years for mechanical keyboard stuff, electronic components and 3D printer parts. I picked up a bunch of these PCB rulers to give out to techy workers I know. PCB Ruler Never had any issues, either with payment methods or shipping (other than the speed).
  4. When people have tough looking soldering jobs like this I recommend that they visit one of the cell phone/computer repair shops. They have the equipment and skills for really fine jobs like this and might help you out for a few bucks.
  5. I don't think it's digital on Best Buy, my Gamer's Club discount worked on the pre order and that only works on physical copies.
  6. I got one as well! Interesting to see the old data from way back when: Joined on 4-6-2000 First purchase - Blue Man Group Audio DVD Surround Mix SEALED on 4-9-2002. First sale - Intel Pentium II 350 MHz CPU W/HSF, No Resrv! on 1-14-2002. Edit: That info isn't accurate, I have record of when I sold my wisdom teeth on there and that was in 2001.
  7. I felt like Picard was rather average sci fi with TNG characters tossed in to sell it. Still, I didn't mind watching it but there's not a lot to do these days anyways!
  8. This might be something you're interested in, 1/8th scale Delorean you build yourself over almost three years: https://en-us.eaglemoss.com/die-cast-club/back-future/delorean-buildup-model Adam Savage did the first few kits of the Ecto 1 on Youtube if you're interested in checking out the process/level of detail in the kits.
  9. I will be there with the MN boys again.
  10. How is ghost in the wires? Its on my list to read. Just started The Last Lecture, and started a re-read of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Also started this page turner at work:
  11. Original Game Boy was the first thing I ever saved up a large chunk of money to pay for by myself as a kid. I was going up north to a cabin with my grand parents, and we stopped at the local Walmart so I could purchase one. I had enough to cover the game boy and a box of Rice Krispie Treat cereal. I spent that whole 3+ hour drive up north chilling in the back seat of the Buick, munching cereal and playing Tetris.
  12. I picked up Control for the PS4. It's such a cool game, has a real "Lost" vibe plus lots of CIA/FBI culture mixed in. I think you can get it for 40 bucks now.
  13. Watched the Imagineering documentary, that was really interesting. I had no idea Disney was such a pioneer on animatronics.
  14. I'll give it a shot if/when the madness dies down, but I'm a little concerned because the closest Popeye's to me is a little sketch.
  15. Beat Battletoads and Fun House without warping, I remember back in the day both of those games being pretty difficult to beat.
  16. I think my favorite has to be Addams Family, but only because we had one in the arcade I worked at so I got to spend a lot of time playing that machine and getting pretty good at it.
  17. I will usually finish a story or campaign, then if there's interesting or fun trophies to get after the fact I will spend some time getting those.
  18. Back in the Team Fortress Classic days I frequented top 10 on the stat tracker websites back then. Not sure how reliable they were but that's all we had to go on. More recently in my achievement hunter days, I restarted Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga after my 30 hour save got overwritten by one of my kids, just so I could 100% it. Usually takes at least 40 hours to complete everything. Most worthless achievement maybe?
  19. Nice looking pups Jesse. Here's our girls, Izzy and Koda
  20. That's great! You will learn a lot working the helpdesk, being exposed to so many different issues is a great way to find out what sort of IT work you're interested in.
  21. Yes! I had a set of these when I was a kid and loved them. I picked up a pair off of eBay a few years ago and they're just as good as I remember. Power Grips plus this circuit board sticker from Nintendo Power was my main controller for a loooong time.
