  1. I've picked up a few large collections for $20k+ each, but those were at huge discounts to actual individual value. As far as a single item goes, maybe the $2,250 I spent for my restored Paperboy arcade game with a Championship Sprint Kit.
  2. Do you have any better photos of the MA-17 logo printed on the box? Here are a bunch of sold eBay listings with the sticker on the right. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Night-Trap-Sega-CD-Complete-In-Box-CIB-Original-Redbox-Version-1992-/293573642678?hash=item445a5a49b6%3Ag%3A3DoAAOSwaKxetZ4W&nma=true&si=O8fk1M06XWDAaIgljB0%2F4pIRgNg%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 2nd https://www.ebay.com/itm/Night-Trap-Sega-CD-Complete-In-Box-CIB-Original-Redbox-Version-1992/274353875866?hash=item3fe0c3eb9a:g:GQ4AAOSw1w1erOKe 3rd one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Night-Trap-Sega-CD-Complete-In-Box-CIB-Original-Redbox-Version/283830579351?epid=6603&hash=item42159ef097:g:FF0AAOSwjMtegGQy 4th one... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Night-Trap-1st-print-rare-Sega-CD-1992-Red-Box/283803828583?hash=item421406c167:g:lu8AAOSwqjJeXxkG
  3. After seeing your post a few years back on NA, I have been looking for a copy of the Rise of The Dragon version that you posted about. Literally looking on eBay every day for one to come up for sale. Last week it finally happened! The seller posted an auction and fortunately it went under the radar for the week that it was live and I was able to buy it for the minimum bid for $49! This was the last "variant" that I was missing for my complete Sega CD set with all known variants. Since it's a promotional copy, I'm not sure it technically qualifies as a variant, since it was never a retail release. I still had to have it though! lol. His post (screenshot attached) talked about him being a game reviewer back in the day and that's where his promotional copy came from. Since yours looks to be sealed, here are a few interesting notes on mine. It included 2 manuals. Not 100% sure that the second one is original to the promotional copy though. The one that is on the outside of the case is actually blank. It has all the same number of pages as the official manual, and even has the perforation where the registration card would be, but nothing is written on any of the pages. Tried to take some photos of them. The outside blank manual is slightly larger than the other one that was included. My "non MA-17" cardboard ROTD is sealed so I can't compare it to the retail release. The game disk is the same as my "MA-17" cardboard copy. Glad to knock this one out as I finished the variant set about 5 years ago and didn't know that this promotional copy even existed until your post in 2017. :)
  4. The "Elfa" line of shelves at the Container Store are great! Fully adjustable and just hang right on the wall, so they don't take up any floor space. They aren't cheap, but they go one sale at 30% off twice per year. Sale is going on now actually. I have about 4x more than what you see here. Whole collection just hangs there.\ Those lights at the top have been replaced with LED. Just hung some Xmas lights at the time to see how I liked it...
  5. The photos really don't do this game justice. The bottom side is perfect, but the top half of the cart has melted like crazy. The label is half decent actually, so this was just a situation where the cart sat, on its back, somewhere that was REALLY hot! Amazingly the game still plays... Bit of a tight fit since the bottom is shaped like a banana...
