  1. Defcon 4 was one i watched as a teen. Loved the box art
  2. Looking forward to seeing you again Ted!
  3. Herzog Zwei on the Sega Genesis. Split screen RTS with a transformable Jet/Mech was ahead of it's time when it came out.
  4. A local store I go to often to buy my Switch games has a CIB Earthbound with a $4K Canadian price tag(PC has it at around $2800 Canadian) Not sure if it was a copy the store got in a trade or the owner's copy. On a side not this store does sell games on commission for people. I've taken in stuff and set my minimum ask and the store will ask whatever they want. I get my asking price without any hassle of trying to sell it online and the store makes some money.
  5. Welcome. I enjoyed the Nes/Famicom map book and I'm looking forward to getting the Genesis/Megadrive map book in the mail soon
  6. The Landmaster from Damnation ally was awesome too!
  7. I loved the Ark II vehicle as a kid
  8. Star Trek Conquest for the PS2. Fun and quick, light strategy game in the Star Trek Universe. Has an arcade mode for combat so you can actually pilot the ships. But I sucked at that part and never play it. Just spread across the galaxy trying to win with my chosen race. if you're a Star Trek or strategy game fan I say give it a try. Also fairly cheap too
  9. 10/10 for me. One of my favorite games of all time. I remember the hype over this game when it came out. Great levels and graphically(for it's time) a beautiful game. I still enjoy playing this game today and I try to once a year fire it up and see how I do.
  10. That was an awesome read! I'm very fortunate to have called Tabonga a friend for 20 years. A lot of fun discussing collecting and trading together early on. I'm grateful for his weekly emails that show his sense of humor and others that show his excitement over new Switch games he thinks I may like.
  11. Doom on the Sega 32X for me. I remember seeing a friend play it on his PC and I was blown away. I didn't own a PC at the time but being a Sega fan I went out and bought a 32X and the game. Later on a friend showed me Wave Race 64 and I loved that. I went out and bought an N64 with Mario 64.
  12. Drums all the way for me. Bigger, juicier and more crunchy. I'm not against flats but if I'm eating wings with buddies I'm going for the drums first until they're all gone.
  13. I think it was years ago when you wanted a game from someone in Quebec
  14. The screen that shows it as Canadian funds would be the screen that shows you what you pay in Canadian funds from your linked Canadian bank account or Canadian credit card. The recipient should still get it as US funds. I do it all the time with Tabonga
  15. Starflight for the Sega Genesis. I sunk a lot of hours into this and beat it back in the day. I usually fire up and beat other favs like Warsong or Shining Force once a year or so. I tried to play Starflight again and it was just too much of a grind.
  16. Koei was my favorite publisher. I saw Genghis Khan on an old 286 computer back in the day and loved it. When I saw that Koei ported it and other historical simulation games to the Nes I went out and bought a system. Genghis Khan, Bandit Kings of Ancient China and Gemfire are ones I fire up yearly and play still.
  17. In 2002 I bought Panzer Dragoon Saga CIB for $200. Sold/traded it a year or so later. Then around 2014 I thought I'd give it a try again and found a copy locally with a broken disc 2 for cheap($120) I was able to get a loose disc 2 off Ebay for cheap($50) I technically spent less acquiring the game the second time around which is uncommon for a rarer, pricey game. I tried playing through it again and was like meh so I sold it off with no desire to play it again.
  18. I can provide some if need be. My box is better condition that any current or completed auctions
  19. I'm wondering what a copy of this game with the cart, box and manual are going for. I haven't seen any completed CIB auctions for awhile
  20. Lately I fired up a few Genesis titles that I had bought/traded for but were stuck in the "to play" pile. Castlevania Bloodlines was ok. Enjoying The Lost World Jurassic Park
  21. 1970 Although it didn't win any awards Kelly's Heroes is a personal fav over more popular war movies that year like MASH and Patton
  22. The Punisher on the Nes from Blockbuster back around 1993. Those plastic cases the rentals came in with their permastruct bring back fond memories.
  23. Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie for the Super Famicom. I'm not a shooter fan because I generally suck big time at them. I loved the Macross anime back in the day so I grabbed this long ago and enjoyed it.
  24. Picked up Wonderboy Collection and Castlevania Collectors edition for the Switch today from my local game store. Might go back and pick up Warlocked for the GBC. It was a good price
