  3. I love chiptune stuff and listen to it outside of games a lot. One of my favorite artists is Big Giant Circles. I also love OC Remix (actually reminds me, I haven't been to that site in a while). I've also listened a lot to 8 Bit Universe, which chiptunes pop songs. Can't get me enough!
  4. I'm playing the pixel remaster of FF4 right now. A lot of the graphical changes are okay, but some of them look worse than the original in my opinion. I didn't like the sprite for Leviathan so far (I'm at Mysidia, so I have yet to fight him). Otherwise, the rearranged music is amazing. The game is exactly the same so far, though. That's okay, because it's my favorite game of all time for the story and characters. I still have yet to play the After Years, which I'm planning on buying sometime after I complete this.
  5. Hey Guys! I'm selling some games in anticipation of moving to Japan next year. I thought I'd try the community first before I go to eBay with them. Looking for offers. Since I don't know what they're worth, you might not like the price I come up with. First up: DK 3-screw cart and non-HT box CIB
  6. I never even bothered playing it when I heard there was no sim part to it. That's what made the first game good!
  7. One weekend we rented Fist of the North Star and Mystery Quest. I played Fist of the North Star for an hour tops, never to play again. My brother played Mystery Quest for most of the weekend, and I ended up watching him try to make a hard jump for what seemed like an eternity. Horrible weekend.
  8. How about the Sunken City in Castlevania III? It is one of two stages that has the best music in the game (Aquarius), but it is completely skippable and has no bearing on anything. And I've found it to be one of the hardest levels in the game. Just pure torture.
  9. I rarely read reviews. If I'm interested in knowing what a game is like, I'll look up gameplay footage. The times when I read reviews are actually after I've played a game or seen a movie, a lot of times if I hate it. At that point, I just want to know that other people hated it, too.
  10. It looks pretty good! I’m not a GnG fan at all because I refuse to go through the whole game twice, but I think it’s a great homage to the series, and I’m sure I’ll watch a speedrun of it in the future.

  12. Gave it a meh rating. I wasn’t impressed with it after playing VI. There are many reasons I don’t like it. A main character like Aerith dying was not a new thing to RPGs, the polygons were horrendous, the fact you couldn’t skip animations made the battles long and tedious, one-winged angel is a horrible song (especially after having to listen to it for at least a half-hour because Sephiroth destroys the universe over and over and you can’t skip it)... the list goes on and on.
  13. I gave it a 5/10. I played through it and beat it, but I wasn’t exactly a fan of it as a kid. I never played the sequels, either. Not saying it’s a bad game, but to me it wasn’t as captivating as SMW would be a year later when I got it for Christmas. That music and ticking down in stage 4 when you’re underwater for too long freaked me out!
  14. I like them! Great work. If I could make a suggestion, I'd say that the LOL icon should have a darker outline. It doesn't seem to stand out as much as the other faces.
  15. Already said above, but the updates and install times. Nothing I hate more than coming home with a new game I’m excited to play and having that excitement turn to frustration because I have to deal with multiple updates that take hours to download and install. Also dislike that the left Switch control has buttons instead of an actual D-pad. I realize it’s for two-player games, but I’m never going to do that and would rather buy a left side that has a D-pad.
