  1. Never played Cards Against Humanity, but I'd love to give it a try.
  2. Did you seriously forget about the masterpiece? Any console with The Tick on it deserves at least a 10 smh
  3. I was slaying the beast and until about halfway through this month. Too many things to take care of I think I'll update with all my screenshots, photos, and thoughts sometime next week.
  4. 9/10 Up there as one of my favorite beat em ups of all time. With this one, SOR went from a Final Fight knock-off to a major franchise in the genre. I dig the deep combo system and grappling is great. The music is also a highlight. I love the detailed sprites/environments too, they lend themselves well to the game's general atmosphere. My only complaint is that the enemy variety can get pretty repetitive after repeated playthroughs. There's only like a dozen enemies in the entire game.
  5. 5/10 Only because I score based on the explanation and not the number. I've put a lot of time into this one and had some fun with it, but AC is one of those franchises that is constantly adding new QoL updates with each entry. Because of that it's hard for me to go back to the original. I don't think I've touched it since 2019.
  6. @Reed Rothchild Is the Smash game 64 or Melee?
  7. As @Link said there are games without microtransactions and ads. I'd highly recommend dropping a few dollars on some small indie titles (if you have the extra cash, that is) because there are some good experiences to be had, even with just a touch screen. I highly recommend Monument Valley, Gorogoa, Beneath the Lighthouse, Into the Dim, and Lumino City. The first three are all fantastic puzzle games, Into the Dim is a dungeon crawler that looks right at home on the Game Boy, and Lumino City is a cute little title with hand-made paper levels. There's also some great ports of console titles, lik
  8. The LucasArts point n clicks are great. Highly recommend those. I believe they're all on GoG/Steam, and the Monkey Island games, Grim Fandango, and Day of the Tentacle all have remakes on every major curent-gen platform.
  9. Seconded. Private battles allow up to 8 at a time (4v4)
  10. Yup. They go on podcasts and tweet about it all the time. Even their Twitter bio mentions it. "The company, founded by Douglas Bogart and Josh Fairhurst, was based on the preservation of video games, as well as catering to players who prefer physical discs and cartridges opposed to game downloads." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_Run_Games (Wikipedia page has sources if you want to dig into the interviews) "We publish physical games! Fans of indies, retro games, cult classics, and more. We like collectible goodies and game preservation. " Sure, tech
  11. So sorry for your loss, Mr Tabonga. May Mrs Tabonga rest in peace. I wish I had the right words, but just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  12. Yes, it does. I said they've gotten better. But it doesn't fix the entire issue, since LRG is just really inconsistent with their releases. Something like the Atooi Collection was easy to get a hold of because they made 6000 copies. Something like Blazing Chrome (1500) not so much. I just find it ironic and annoying when they preach about preservation and their entire business model is... pretty much the exact opposite of that.
  13. They're a business. The non limit thing is put in place to get people who are on the fence about it to pull the trigger, in order to sell more games. Just the thought of scalpers buying up all of the stock creates a frenzy around the product. Not it mention it actually does draw resellers and scalpers to it as well. Maybe you don't agree with the business model, but it seems to be working just fine for LRG. Personally I'm happy that companies like them exist, and it's cool to see how they finance print runs for indie devs, but some of their practices are really bullshitty for a company th
  14. lmao he even talks like Trump. Too fucking perfect "He added that his social-media platform Vocl would launch in between 10 and 14 days, and would be 'the biggest platform in history, safest platform ever.'"
  15. Score update! Took me a while to improve on my last one, and it isn't that much higher than that score, but I still think it's pretty good. I beat @spacepup so I'm happy (He'll probably beat it tomorrow :D) @Jeevanhi
  16. It has a much smaller library than the ps2, but I think the ps3 still stands on its own. Overall I think it deserves like a 7/10 or so, but the highs of the ps3 console just do a lot for me personally. Some of the highlights for me are: the souls games (I dig them; Demon's was a ps3 exclusive), everything from Naughty Dog, Journey, 3D Dot Game Heroes, LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank, a bunch of great sequels of ps2 games (God of War, Metal Gear Solid), and I really liked Infamous though it isn't as universally praised. Not to mention tons of excellent indies and tons of great multiplats. It
  17. At first I hated this port. Now it’s growing on me haha. And thank you
  18. I struggled with this one at first, and the controls are a little wonky, but I eventually got the hang of it. Through some playing and some Googling I’ve learned a few things: -Though you can run left and right to grab empty bottles, it’s best to minimize your horizontal movement. For some reason, likely a developer oversight, when you run to catch a bottle and fire one immediately after that, all patrons will throw their bottles back. Basically, you can minimize the number of bottles coming your way by minimizing the amount of times you run across the table to catch a glass. -Due t
  19. Took me a bit to get a score I was happy with, but here it is: 118,525 @Jeevan Not bad for a nub, huh?
  20. 1CC is one credit clear. One continue clear is different lol Maybe you could add a second definition
  21. That's actually pathetic. Let people define their own goals/standards. It's their experience and their choice. I envy the people who can beat a game with rewind/save states and move on. It would be nice to not spend 15 hours on something like Solomon's Key
  22. Shit, thanks for the updates. I'll have to read them when I get the time. I binged your last few and they were really enjoyable reads. Well done
