  1. I'd prefer that you add it. So if that's all the Japanese PEZ, are NA and Europe sets our next goal?
  2. @KokiriChild Awesome! Will you add it to the doc or would you like me to do it?
  3. Sure thing! As long as I'm allowed to emulate, I can knock off SE tomorrow.
  4. Generally, I'd say more people prefer SML, but I have to agree with you on the part about controls. SML1's controls feel way more tight and responsive to me, and SML2's controls are extremely floaty. It's like SMB1 vs SMB3 imo. More people like SMB3 because it's bigger and looks nicer, but it also has floatier controls than the first game. SML2 is bigger, has more stages (32 vs 12), looks nicer, has more powerups, more secrets, more enemies, ect. It just comes down to personal preference and whether you prefer the simplicity of SML1.
  5. Heh. I like to fly over them and bait them into chasing me. Maybe it's just me.
  6. One factor that I think really brought World down was slowdown. Super Mario Bros 3 was pushing the hardware, looked amazing, and had little to no slow down. World on the other hand, is on more powerful hardware and it has constant slowdown. When you get a starman, when there are too many projectiles on screen, and, worst of all, when there are more than like 3 Chargin' Chucks. There's one level in particular where there's like 6 or 7 Chargin Chucks and the frame rate drops below 20.
  7. If you have a select few favorite, you could do something like this: Or if you have an absolute ton you want to display you could do something like this: Or this:
  8. And, to win you over, you get a "Big Window Micro" if you purchase all four.
  9. I appreciate that you excluded amiibo. They're their own separate beast.
  10. Got it and responded. Thanks for the bump mate
  11. Exactly what I was gonna say. Care to do the honors?
  12. Common Gamecube Games CiB: All inserts, manuals, cases, disks Super Smash Bros. Melee Wind Waker DM if interested in buying/trading. If you'd like pics I can send 'em as well. 13. Wow, that sounds almost as bad as being a Sonic fan What are your thoughts on the Skylanders competitors? I bought a few Disney Infinity figures, and I bought a few Lego Dimension figures, but never bought the games. Both had high-quality figures, and Lego Chell, Lego Homer Simpson, and Lego Marty McFly are just awesome. And then there's amiibo...
  14. Yeah, I know of three Skylanders games on the Wii. But I was talking more about the first game. It only came in the big box, since you can't play without the base thingy (power portal?) and the physical Skylanders figures. Sure, you could have a "complete" set with only cart, instructions, and box. It's like a CiB snes set without baggies, trays, adverts, inserts, ect. But if you want the truly "complete" set, meaning everything that came with the original games, that's the definition of complete. Like I said before, it's a bit of a blurry line. Entirely depends on your own ideas and beliefs. Whatever you consider to be complete, is complete. As a Skylanders fan, what exactly did you like about the franchise? To me, it always seemed like a cashgrab, but the earlier games were actually really good. After Swap Force though I felt it went really downhill. Weren't there even like Donkey Kong and Bowser figures at some point?
  15. It's probably been said before, but people who try to defend their expensive purchases and claim that they're "hidden gems". Hagane isn't the next Ninja Gaiden. It just isn't.
  16. Well, if you want a truly CiB Wii Set, you need the Skylanders. The game came with 3 figures, and was only sold in a big box, just like Earthbound. By definition, a "complete copy" comes with everything the original contained, not just some of it. It was never sold as just the "inner box with manual and disc" meaning the three Skylanders are needed for a truly complete set. But part of the joy of fullset collecting is that everyone makes their own rules for complete sets. I've seen people (dude from Nintendo Quest) count their set as complete without Flintstones 2. It's up to the collector.
  17. That book was enjoyable, but why did he have to mess up dialogue? The NY Times went as far as to say: "the reconstructed dialogue can be stilted and phony."
  18. Technically speaking, games are a type of application.
  19. The Boston Tea Party didn't help anything. It actually raised tentions between British soldiers and Boston civilians. As a result of the BTA, the King sent another 4,000 or so soldiers, and there were only about 20,000 civilians in Boston at this point. The most effective protests were peaceful. Boycotts shook the British government and forced them to repeal certain acts. Seems like a similar situation here. I feel like violence is not the answer here, but not all of the crimes being committed are protesters. Oppurtunists and looters fucking suck.
  20. Sure, but the "Game Boy Player" and the "Game Boy Player Disk" are two separate things. I'm referring to the actually chonky boi itself as an accessory, but the disk, yes that's an application.
  21. Damnit Gloves The GBP isn't an application tho. It requires a disk, but the actual GBP is a piece of hardware. Not sure about the SGB
  22. Yeah, I'd consider the SGB and the GBP to be accessories. Sort of similar to how you can have a "CiB" Wii set without Skylanders. Box isn't an accessory at all, it's an application. To me, it's like not counting a PS2 seg as complete because you don't have the disk for Netflix But it's entirely up to you, Gloves.
