  1. Hey thanks @Jeevan@spacepup @drxandy! I check up here every now and again, but honestly I am just too busy with work and closing on a house next month. You guys keep up the good work around here!
  2. The music itself is worth it to play again. So many "remakes" of battle themes as well as various other songs added. The Hell House battle theme is so well done as well the Air Buster battle theme. I'm currently waiting to get the 7 CD soundtrack offered by Square Enix.
  3. They will probably develop the rest of the game for PS4 as people have them now. I think they said that the PS5 will be PS4 backwards compatible so who knows at this point. All I can say is that it's a great start and cannot wait for the later release(s?).
  4. I'm going to assume that they aren't going to keep any progress (as there's really isn't any "choice" to be made by the main characters except the sidequests). Maybe if the sidequests are completed or not completed could impact a few things in the future releases. If you think Jessie was bae from the OG, you will love her in this.
  5. Just playing this on hard mode (only accessible after you beat the game). Notes: 1. You can skip chapters to get missables that weren't picked up on your first playthrough (don't worry about picking everything up, even if you explore...just enjoy the game!) The missables are listed for each chapter, but not their location. 2. It's more of a new game+. You keep literally everything and your levels stayed the same. EXP and AP that you receive in battles are now doubled and tripled respectively. 3. Cannot use any items in the game (both outside of the battle and in battle). Enemy health is the same. Restore points (aka benches) only refill HP and not MP. 4. Can skip one scene at the start of Chapter 4. But honestly, just go play the game if you're a fan of Final Fantasy or just starting. Jessie is now my home girl with Tifa a close second.
  6. Sort of, but not really. Classic mode. Basically all characters automatically block and attack by themselves and you just input the commands when your ATB fills up. It's not the same as the original, but that's as close as you're going to get. FYI, this mode is also on "easy". This is really more made for people who just want to enjoy the story more and not worry about "playing the game". Then you have Easy and Normal modes. Both require you to input all commands and you block and dodge yourself with the character you control (note: you switch between characters whenever you want). Eventually, the ATB fills up and you can use your commands (while the battle is super slow-mo). You can change the modes at any time you want during your playthrough.
  7. (Spoiler free-ish) Just beat this game tonight after binging on since Friday night. I can honestly say it blew my expectations. Characters like Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge were fleshed out which added more to the story. There are sidequests, but not a lot to bog you down and were 90% easy to complete (the other 10% took some determination). Some areas in the game that were straight shots from one to another, they added new elements and expanded on those area to give it some size (just looking up in the slums gives it a "holy hell, this city is huge" feeling. The music was fantastic. Going through places and hearing renditions of songs past was just fantastic. I put in about 45-ish hours in the game and I'm yearning for me. This just brings me back to almost 23 years ago when I first played the original. I can probably replay this game again, which is what I'm going to do this week since I have it off for vacation. Any of those who have a PS4 owe it to themselves to play the game.
  8. I've been changing it up between Mgła and Agalloch. Currently listening to Agalloch - The Mantle:
  9. I hope all you guys are doing well and staying safe. I know I haven't been on here much, but I've been working at hospitals and other health care areas servicing power injectors. I am on a call discussing the COVID-19 with medical experts and what we need to do to be safe. While most people are working from home, that's not feasible for me in field service as our top priority are our customers and keeping them up and running.
  10. Do you think the Bills have a shot this year? They are coming back with a vengeance since they last played each other. KC is still looking good as well. At least both of those games will be played at Foxboro which will give the Pats an edge.
  11. Cân Bardd - The Last Rain Just got this bad boy on vinyl.
  12. I've built my PC a while back and just upgraded whenever I could. Currently have: -Asus X-99 DELUXE motherboard -i7-5930k processor -64GB (8x8)Corsair RAM -2x 2080 RTX Founder Edition graphic cards in SLI (nvlink is what they call it) -512GB M.2 SSD -256 SSD -2TB Black Western Digital HDD -4TB Black Western Digital HDD -2x ASUS VG248 monitors All connected on an UPS. Sucks that I don't game much on it, but I have the means to do so.
  13. I'm surprised no one mentioned the first Mario Party. Blisters galore on the palm of your hands.
  14. Just got back from Slayer. Phil Anselmo and the Illegals played a Pantera set of 8 songs with no songs from Cowboy From Hell...kind of disappointed but it was good to hear "Pantera" live. Ministry was something else. Definitely need to check out more of their stuff. Primus killed it. And of course, Slayer. 20 songs of craziness. Definitely had a great time.
  15. Last band I saw was Ghost. Going to see Slayer this Friday in Springfield, MA. On that same note, I have an extra GA ticket if someone wants to go (will be less than the going price). My favorite shows: 1. Fear Factory w/ Mastadon in 2004 2. Metallica 2003 Summer Sanitarium Tour (w/ Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Deftones, Mudvayne) 3. Megadeth w/ Exodus in 2004. 4. Soilwork w/ Mnemic and Threat Signal in 2006. 5. Megadeth Gigantour 2005 (w/ Dream Theater, Fear Factory, Dillinger Escape Plan, Nevermore) 6. Fear Factory Demanufacture 20 Year Anniversary Tour 2016 (with Soilwork) I know I'm missing a few, but these stand out for me.
  16. Anyone doing no shave November this year? After shaving my whole head for about 3 years, I'm just going to grow out my beard and see how far I get...
  17. Summoning - Lugburz Been working on Summoning's back catalog, and found this gem. Great black atmospheric sound to them.
  18. Just wanted to say hi and glad to see you're still alive! I still have that Castlevania stitch you made a while back, though it's in a box somewhere since I've moved a few times since. Hope you stick around!
  19. Field service engineer servicing power injectors at medical facilities.
  20. I used to have a 5 piece Tama Starclassic EFX in liquid metal with Z custom 8", 16", and 18" cymbals and A custom 16" and 17" cymbals. Still had the ZBT 12" hi hats and 20" ride. Had them all a pearl rack set up. Sold them all before I went to AZ a few years back. Only thing I have left is my double pedal Pearl Demon Drives. I plan on getting a house soon and hope to get back into drumming again. Lastly, I have a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 6 string neck through in black cherry. It's not mine per se, but my friend said I can permanent borrow it since he has the guitars that he wants and doesn't need it.
  21. They did do a ALTTP and Super Metroid crossover randomizer if you ever feel like getting lost for hours on end.
  22. Good luck. Same with almost all of the horror PS2 games, like Rule of Rose, Haunting Ground, Obscure (for some weird reason) to name a few.
