  1. Are you trying to kill the game industry by stopping remakes of beloved 10 year old games?
  2. The PC version is $15 more expensive and only includes a Steam code, lol. Just don’t release a PC version if you don’t want to guys.
  3. I found something really rare that I don't think anyone cares about, but I don't know where else to post it except SegaAge 2 the Sega CD thread. A JVC service manual for Electronic Book Decoder, which has to be one of the rarest piece of console software ever because this is the only thing my saved search ever hit. It came from a stereo dealer who had a bunch of old JVC manuals. Quick album of the contents: https://imgur.com/a/qK6LxXb
  4. Is Tunic not an action adventure game? The only reason I haven't played it is because I've played literally every Zelda game so I kind of don't need more.
  5. There are 11 main areas and you need to complete at least 7 of them to get to the credits. A big laser appears when you beat each area. There's no linear path through the game. You sometimes have to bop back and forth between areas because you'll eventually hit puzzle concepts that you'll only understand from the other areas.
  6. This game is the perfect co-op girlfriend game. I mean Starcraft II might be the best RTS ever, but I'm still urging you to try this instead since it's the best stealth goose puzzle game ever.
  7. Some from various "top" lists: Hades Disco Elysium Red Dead Redemption 1/2 Fortnite, Apex Legends, Overwatch, any modern multiplayer FPS Dishonored 1/2 Bloodbourne Alien: Isolation DOTA 2 League of Legends (I barely have a concept of what a MOBA even is. It seems like a combo of RTS and ARPG PVP) Far Cry 3 Borderlands 2 Xenoblade Chronicles God of War 2-5 Bayonetta Persona 4-5 The Witcher 3 Return of the Obra Dinn Half Life Alyx I've played almost all of the cliche 80s and 90s stuff until you get into the advanced nerd lists that start throwing in A Mind Forever Voyaging and King's Quest IV to keep you on your toes. I'm interested in a few: Hades, Disco Elysium, and Obra Dinn. But man, I have played a lot of action games, a lot of FPS games, a lot of RPGs. It's hard to imagine every single good action game a "must play!". These top games ever lists are always overinfested with action and FPS games. The IGN top list has 15 FPS and 0 2D shooters. OK.
  8. You have to look that up to know that game is DIRT COMMON TRASH? You must be new here
  9. The Witness and Baba is You are my two favorite puzzle games. I love the vibes and look of The Witness and the puzzle design is amazing. Every puzzle adds a new a-ha moment. It’s never simply the same concept repeated in different way for filler. Filler gameplay?? Jonathan Blow would never! It is easy to see where the many years of design and polish went. It’s a masterpiece. The only bad part of the entire, very long game is a few audio puzzles that might as well be impossible. Baba is You gets ridiculously hard and some later complex words are unintuitive for my small brain. Every time I thought I learned some fundamental concept of a puzzle solution, new mechanics would make me start from square 1. Very un-sokoban-like in that way. Both games make you break out graph paper and do like… math. They are frequently sit down and work on one frustrating puzzle type games, not sit down and breeze through a dozen puzzles for dopamine hit games.
  10. It’s the dumbest thing I could think of that someone would grade
  11. The most memorable days are my longest days. Staying up all night watching Laserdisc horror movies on Halloween in middle school, not sleeping for a two days straight with gaming, music, and partying with friends at Magfest back when I could physically do that in my 20s , a long day hiking in the middle of nowhere desert turned into a night of games and shows at Vegas. Damn it's all hedonistic entertainment, I should lie and say something more sentimental.
  12. Is that the day you started lining up for the Nintendo Wii? Same.
  13. I dunno how VGA works. Sometimes with high value rare stuff they'll grade it when it's not new (Prototypes, NWC stuff). I know Wata has "NS" graded slide box Genesis games, which means the seal was so bad someone told Wata to take it off, but you can be sure no one ever slid the inner box out of the slip cover
  14. Someone tell me something interesting they found. You can only search for individual games right? NWC Gray: 2 (Seems really low?) NWC Gold: 1 (Also seems too low? I've seen multiple maybe they were regraded) Stadium Events: 8 Steel Battalion Big Box: 2 Elemental Gearbolt Assassin's Case: 1 BOTW Master Edition: 65 Doom PC: 0 (1 listed as v1.666 which means it must be opened afaik) Chase the Chuck Wagon: 0 GTA: San Andreas PS2: ~450 (Anything more common than this?)
  15. Cool project since Blinking Light Win is basically dead (or just always out of stock?). It looks like almost the same thing.
  16. Gain Ground SX. This message brought to you by the Gain Ground Gang.
  17. It's too easy and the main power up's benefit is skipping over parts of the level, which is like making the P wing the main power up in SMB3. It's not as varied as SMB3 or YI. It's too expensive CIB. 10/10, almost as good as NSMBU Deluxe.
  18. There's this one high up guy who usually hasn't played it though
