  1. Centipede is done. There's not much to say about this game. It's graphically basic, but plays well. I'm still playing through Sword of Hope 2, but it is a relentless grind-fest in places, so it can be a but slow to make progress with.
  2. Battlezone/ Super Breakout and Dropzone are done. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo for Dropzone, but can do it again and take an in-game shot of my score if required.
  3. I'm working on Sword of Hope 2. Again. I also tried The Blues Brothers, and got most of the way through level 3 of 4 before rage quitting. I'll probably go back to it at some point, though.
  4. Felix the cat is done. I'd have a picture of the brief ending here, but I'm an idiot, and I only managed a blurry snap of "the end" on a blank screen.
  5. Gameboy Gallery is done. It's much more basic than the Game & Watch Gallery games, but includes Ball, so I'm not complaining.
  6. Nintendo World Cup is done. I only conceded a single goal in the whole tournament, so I may have played this one a bit too much.
  7. Last one for today, and possibly a while since I am back to work tomorrow. Lethal Weapon is done. I relied a lot on what Floating Platforms said about this last year.
  8. Meanwhile, Super Breakout is done. It's the same game as the normal Gameboy version, so I applied the same completion conditions.
  9. Mary-Kate and Ashley: Pocket Planner is a glorified (and useless) PDA. You have to keep the GBC on in order for it to work, so you'd need a lot of batteries. Anyway, there are actually 4 mini games included. I've done the slide puzzle and memory game. I've won on the "fash machine", but the last game "drop to shop" is a Kaboom rip-off. I've made it to level 11, and can't tell whether there's an end to it. It just gets stupidly fast by that point. Anyone know whether it's possible to actually beat that game?
  10. Super Breakout is done. Below is a screenshot from cavity mode, with the score I got from the first screen.
  11. Sesame Srreet: Elmo's 123s is done. This time there are only 4 mini games, but there's more variety between them. We also inexplicably get a sci-fi theme. So if you've ever wanted to see Elmo using a jet pack, here's your chance. The games are based on counting and rudimentary addition or subtraction maths. Nothing taxing for anyone but the very young, but the target audience would no doubt get some enjoyment from this. What was challenging was getting a photo before the cutscene ended!
  12. Sesame Street: Elmo's ABCs is done. I had to get in quick with this one, as I knew there'd be a rush to tackle what has to be one of the best games on the platform. Being serious, though, I can see how very young children would have enjoyed this at the time. Elmo is well animated, juggling and cartwheeling in various cutscenes. The game itself has 5 mini games. The easiest just requires the player to match a letter from a selection with the one Elmo highlights. Then it mixes upper and lower case. After that, the games require the player to spell 3 letter words or find a letter from a pool that can be used to complete a word. There's nothing taxing here for anyone over the age of 5 or so, but it would be a fun way for young children to gain confidence with letters, I suppose. Each game ends with Elmo hitting the bell on a strength test and having fireworks go off to celebrate.
  13. Alleyway is done. This remains one of my all time favourite games, despite its simplicity. Apologies for the blurry screen. My phone was refusing to cooperate.
