Remove cello or not from Cardboard genesis game

Recommended Posts

Really clean, slit with an exacto knife cello = perfection

Crinkled, yellowed or dissentegrating cello = a grotesque, hideous mess!

For me, there really is no middle, though I agree, for very high-dollar games, keeping the cello is important for value, even if it's ugly.  This is 1000x even more true if there's a factory sticker on it that's specific to the game.

I always leave the cello on. It's only original once, it's not hurting anything, the sticker shows provenance, and you won't be able to tell from the spine on the shelf. Being a cardboard game, it goes in a box protector anyways.

It was compressing the box quite a bit.
