phart010 | 1,705
What I read is that they couldn’t handle the capacity of orders on the manufacturing end. They were putting all these things together by hand

ALTQQ | 87
They made some great stuff, nice boxes, painted the carts. It was nice to have cib rom hacks and translated roms. I really liked their secret of mana 2 and Mario return to dinosaur land. I bought lots at the time. I've got a few for sale now , I just haven't listed them up again. portabello | 99
My repro copy of a "US" Terranigma is pieced together but I was able to snag a Timewalk printed map from their site about a week before they shutdown. They accidentally sent me a Mother repro cart and then told me to keep it. Pretty cool of them, but I also got the impression they were just looking to get out of the game. buttheadrulesagain | 41
I only got Mario Adventure from them, I repent on not buying Zelda Outlands. Mario came with a nice poster. I bought it because it could not be played in the Powerpak at the time (now it can be so I have my copy stored for display).
thesubcon3 | 18
Was it really that they “couldn’t handle it”? I always thought it was that they were basically shut down by the Shadowhawk incident where they used the comic art without permission and the art basically took them or threatened to take them to court? Shadowhawk was RCG.

So it was an old NA post but from what I was tracking RCG was doing the release but timewalk was creating the games... (Can’t view the old post unfortunately...) arch_8ngel | 1,597
I had always assumed they flew too close to the sun doing the cartridge for the DuckTales press kits and the notoriety came back to haunt them in some way.
