8/10. It's a good movie, but I would probably not rewatch it. I had to look at the trailer to remember exactly what movie this was as there are so many movies with houses/cabins in the woods lol

I thought I saw this, but I was thinking of Cabin Fever. I didn't care for it and I can't say that I really have any interest in watching this either.

As far as making fun of classic horror tropes, this is a fairly unique and fun take on that, that doesn't feel a constant need to wink at the camera like those shitty Scary Movie movies.

The plot also goes in really weird ways that only works because it doesn't take itself seriously at all.

I'm probably not really the target audience, but I enjoyed it all the same. 7/10

I wouldn't say the two movies are anything alike.

I'd also recommend you read all of these comments and see if it piques your curiosity.

Just watched it yet again last night, and I'm still catching new details
