Kain Highwind | 22
I came across this for sale. The cart, manual and box each have one of these. Has anyone had any experience attempting to remove this kind of sticker?
DoctorEncore | 3,690
I guess it all depends on the type of adhesive, but these type of matte paper stickers seem to generally be easier to remove than shiny stickers. That being said, I wouldn't buy it unless you were okay with them leaving a mark when you remove them. Otherwise you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Tanooki | 4,930
Should come right off that thick NES sticker, they're fairly protected. I'd be more concerned about the paper products otherwise. Odds are that type can stain the paper under it a bit, or if it ever was consistently in some light may be more true to the original color under it compared to the rest. On that cart just the usual finger nail and a little alcohol should pop that right off as it'll release the glue. As far as the other stuff, whatever people have said around here before from careful pick and lift to using bestine etc.

Yeah it can, but that's better than leaving all sorts of weird crap on there and stickers if that's the trade off.
a3quit4s | 4,093
Qtip and bestine test a small area of the box first but generally anything that isn’t sticky the bestine just dries on like it wasn’t there
