They would have been an 8-9 in my teen years, but not today. It just sounds to whiny after a while, but I can still listed to the hits and enjoy the nostalgia for the time.

They are one of those bands where I never really got into any of their albums and I only enjoyed their hits.  But there are a lot of good hits that I really enjoy.

They're okay, but they're also kind of annoying with songs that drag on and don't know when to shut up.

I voted a 7 because I let my wife take the reigns on this one. I however would have given them a 3 or 4, all their songs sound the same except for the one song they're known for (at least as far as I'm aware) - Wonderwall. And that song annoys me.

I voted 7 for nostalgic reasons. The first couple of albums are solid, after that I lost interest. This is by far my favorite song of theirs though and per usual Reed didn’t link it!

I've loved Oasis for a long time, since the mid-90s. They're an easy 9 for me. I don't listen to them as much anymore but they're still probably in my top 20 bands of all time.

Unlistenable, cheesy garbage.  I never understood the hype and almost everyone I know loves them.  Even people I know with similar music tastes as mine really like them.  Their cheesiness is on a level with country music from the last 10-20 years.

Back when Oasis was in heavy rotation (along with other fluff like Alanis Morissette and Hootie & The Blowfish), I remember a radio station playing the first few notes of Champagne Supernova, stopping it, and the DJ joked "hah, you thought were were going to play that again didn't you?"  I think everyone was sick of them by then and I'm glad they just kind of went away.  Like Hootie.
