I've spent some lot of time looking for publishers for my game Witch n' Wiz [NES], and thought this info might be useful for others in a similar boat.

These are the publishers actively seeking out new NES Homebrew games to publish physical copies. Let me know if I missed any.

Added! Let me know if there is a better website or name you prefer.

Lol, I'm not that worried about it.

I'm small potatoes compared to those other folks.

I go by Neodolphino Productions, and I use my Twitter for pretty much all info (@JustinOrenich) -VERY- profession. XD

Do you have a link?

Yeah!

https://itg-soft.tw

In addition to developing and publishing our own games, we're publishing games from a wide variety of developers including Round 11, Formosa TV Game, Michael Crick, PB Games, Nate Peters, Retro 22, M.A. Gamez, Salvage Squirrel Games, Dalyen Games, etc. At the moment we are just doing Famicom versions, but our intention is to get NES production up and running around Lunar New Year.

We're also doing R&D for some exciting hardware (i.e. peripherals) and are hoping to see everyone this fall in Syracuse for the Retro Game Con!

Random sidebar, you should totally ditch the famiclone galaxy/maliscash thing and just brand your store as the ITG Soft store at store.itg-soft.tw - less confusing.

Well I'm actually in the process of working on doing something about "that", and I'm all ears for suggestions.

The problem is that I need a place to sell the games / related merch that I am developing or publishing (homebrews / indie, planning on doing t-shirts again (ITG-Soft ones with the Never Say Die-style artwork) as I've had some people who want them, etc.

Then there is the other stuff, such as the gaming books I've written, second-hand bootleg games such as Famiclone stuff, MSX cartridges, official Taiwanese N64 stuff, Sega, etc. Next year I even want to do *something* with tea, yes gamer related. So the issue then becomes separating the different facets. Obviously I have no issues about selling secondhand, vintage bootlegs from 1986, for example, as they're collectable, a testament as to how far many countries have come since then (in terms of now going for official products and the use of brand loyalty), as well as a big sociological area to examine; however, obviously I don't want to be selling bootleg or unofficial stuff from an ITG-branded store that strives to publish games with devs getting money from the sales.

The best solution I've thought about so far is to make a single homepage with links to the various places, i.e. ITG Official Store, Famiclone Galaxy, etc. Or I could set up multiple independent shops, I've thought about that too, but likely that's going to cost more $$$, so if I go that route it might be a WIP for a bit longer. I'm more than happy to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter.

On a different note, the confusion is going to get even more confusing or a spell, as I'm slowly trying to introduce our Taiwanese name into the brand and move away from the English name.

If you are going to do a ton of work anyways, might as well do like a  store.itg-soft.tw and then just organize everything into categories (homebrew, clones, books, apparel, whatever top level stuff) so you just have one store selling all your wares. I know you want to go for a more professional look so having one storefront would be a leap forward in that respect.  Plus it would give you a chance to clean up the storefronts and make sure you have everything organized and kick out stuff that isn’t selling. Since you can use a subdomain like store.itg-soft.tw or whatever you can probably find some content management system to manage the storefront stuff and do payments and all that ala Shopify or whatever

like fcgamer's corner shop? lol

In all honesty I can't tell half the time if it's you, an alias, your alter ego, your night time personality or whatever else there is. I just assume it's all you. @a3quit4smakes a good point.
