Reed Rothchild | 9,509 Editorials Team ·
Also, you can see we've actually completed Mr. Nutz a number of times in the past. Though I forgot I had all of this information tracked. I used to have a lot more free time (numbers represent what completion of the year each game was)
Reed Rothchild | 9,509 Editorials Team ·
Alright, one more blast from the past. Maybe I can start tracking this again. @the_wizard_666 has made good progress on moving on up.

So, the full history is that this is an "all-time" list as of the creation of VGS. As in all SNES completions since late 2019. Before VGS we had all but a handful of the games completed. And when we were doing annual resets we actual got 553 games completed in 2017 alone. So I can't count your completions. But we welcome you to the effort. Momentum has been slower than it once was. https://archive.nes.science/nintendoage-forums/nintendoage.com/forum/messageview5a51.html?catid=31&threadid=185273 Fair enough. I used to be on NintendoAge but finally logged back in here after only using Atariage for a while. If I want to get it back on the list I'll just have to make like Arkanoid and "Doh It Again" unless someone else does it.

TheGameCollector | 18
Oh, I did beat Final Fantasy III at the end of May 2021 on an actual SNES. It was my first time actually finishing it and not using any Game Genie codes. I taught all of my characters all of the Esper spells possible so I had a really easy time beating the final bosses. Daniel_Doyce | 470
The winning condition for Wordtris is "Complete Level J," but according to the manual, Level J continues forever until you either lose, abort, or run out of time if there is a timer. So this should be a completion right?

TheGameCollector | 18
Oh here are a couple of the pictures I took when I beat Final Fantasy III. I have more too but that would exceed the file size limit. Edited January 18, 2022 by TheGameCollector
Daniel_Doyce | 470
AD&D Eye of the Beholder is done. The first pic has the titular eye (and its stem): I'm playing some SNES RPGs that have already been beat, so you won't hear from me again here for at least a couple of months
LHCGreg | 111
I beat Uncharted Waters: New Horizons as Ernst Von Bohr, the Dutch geographer. Those waters are uncharted no more. I mapped the world, found all the ports and villages, became a duke, and helped a woman find her hometown. 1

Was that your first time playing it? Yes, first time. Also my first Koei game. I may return to it in the future to play as other characters. I spent too much time spreadsheeting prices and making notes of potential trade routes. Next time I'll already have those notes to consult and will know what I'm doing. Daniel_Doyce | 470
In case anyone cares, I beat Final Fantasy II (US) for the first time today. I think I'll work on a fun Koei game next. Liberty or Death, as the British, of course 2

It's been slow going for the last few years (since we moved to VGS), so I slowed the updates down. I can take a look tomorrow.
MagusSmurf | 577
Arcana. I guess it’s nice that for once an old 1st person dungeon crawler doesn’t drag on too long, was if anything too easy, and was not grindy. And it has an automap so it’s far from the worst thing like this I’ve played. Nothing here is very inspiring though. 4/10
LHCGreg | 111
True Lies is done. I played through once on normal and then again on hard. The only difference seems to be that enemies take a couple more shots to kill on hard.
MagusSmurf | 577
The Flintstones: The Treasure of the Sierra Madrock. Didn’t take a picture. 5/10 NES Flintstones were both superior. The “levels” here quickly all ran together. also how do you not have a final boss or at least a real climax, what happened with this game.
Daniel_Doyce | 470
Liberty or Death is done, as the British (aka the challenging scenario) This is one of the best Koei games to try out. Just play as the American side and enjoy
