Played video games since I was 6, but never really considered myself a 'collector' until 2018 when I stumbled on /r/retrogames and discovered this was actually a thing. Actually I never respected my games. Non of my games or consoles survived over the years. I remember when I upgraded from SNES to N64 I cut the cables of the SNES controllers, imagined how cool it would be to have wireless controllers, then chucked it away.
