ConsoleCollector88 | 8
I have mostly been collecting PS1/PS2 games thus far as it’s the consoles I grew up on. PS1, PS2 and XB360 seem easy to identify with the game barcodes on the edges (although it seems some PS2 don’t have barcode stickers), but DS, 3DS, Switch, Wii, Wii U, PS3, PS4 games all have just a general cello seals all around on the edges with no barcodes. What I am looking for, is someone(s) to share what the factory sealed edges look like for these platforms. I know the y-seal to look for, however I am unfamiliar with the top, bottom and side edges of other platforms as I am just expanding into them. I had a Wii game that I just flipped that I am assuming is/was authentic but truly I am not 100% sure. Please someone share if you know 100% how the factory seals are supposed to be on these games - pictures would be best! Thanks in advance! DoctorEncore | 3,691
It wouldn't be a bad idea to create a community guide that shows official seals for all consoles. I'd be happy to contribute, but have no interest in taking the lead.
