twiztor | 848
you definitely need Teleroboxer on that Virtual Boy cart. But really, why not just include all 14 US games? and the 2-3 Japanese exclusives? and Street Fighter: Hyper Fighting? and how are you not including Goldeneye on your n64 cart? Look man, if you want to play pretend and come up with your own ideas for your own little world, go right ahead. But didn't they create a club or blog or something for you to post this stuff in? you aren't creating this to have a conversation, you're just making a list for the purpose of making a list. 1 1
Khromak | 768
I'm confused by the OP. Is this just a list of your favorite games for each system? Saying that a compilation cart should be made with a very specific set of games on it is kind of strange. You'd only sell it to people with the exact same taste as you, and of course it can't be actually licensed because it involves like 50 different publishers, developers, artists, etc. I think this makes more sense as a "what I would put on the SD card in my Everdrive carts" list. But even that is weird because...why not just include everything? Weird post, but I think people are getting a little passive aggressive about it. Just a dude talking about stuff he likes, isn't that why we have a video game forum?

Just a dude talking about stuff he likes, isn't that why we have a video game forum? OP has made up his own personal list of "Video Game Masters". He chooses which characters/games to include. It seems pretty arbitrary, focusing firstly on 1st party Nintendo Titles, then any other major characters (Bomberman, etc.). So only those characters and games "count". Every few months, he will create a thread similar to this one: a giant list of characters or games. He will pretty much dismiss anybody else's input because they're not part of his "Video Game Masters". He (to my knowledge) has never explained what that means or what he's doing with this information. He doesn't foster any type of discussion. He posts a list and then defends it with vague terms and it goes nowhere. Sorry if i seem passive aggressive about it, but he's been doing this for a couple of years now. I have tried to contribute a few times. some serious, some joking, but all with the same result. Here's his main blog post naming the hundreds of characters he includes: And here's his games lists, which largely is reposted in this thread for no discernable reason: https://www.videogamesage.com/blogs/blog/25-video-game-master-sets/

SNESNESCUBE64 | 532
Theres some huge problems with large compilation cartridged. 1. Its so friggin niche, that the profit margin vs engineering cost to design modern pcbs alone for the market isn't worth it for an official release to happen. They would 2. Nintendo hasn't supported many of these consoles for over a decade now. By making a new official cartridge, they would have to support these ancient pieces of tech. Although it would be lovely to get new NES CPUs fabbed, not gonna happen. 3. Licensing nightmare. The rights for the games you listed off are owned by several companies, each will want a piece of the pie. 4. Just play these games on a modern platform. Nintendo switch online exists if you wanna be official, if you wanna go yoho emulation exists. That said, no company in their right mind would make such a cart. Looking at his NES list alone, that would be an absolute NIGHTMARE to program into a single cart, both from a software point of view AND a hardware point. Multiple mapper types, battery support, making sure nothing conflicts...also, some of the games are like "why?" Stack-Up? Arcade Mario Bros. TWICE? Mega Man 2 TWICE? WHYYYYYY???? And all the large RPGs would make for some extreme space issues. Why not just go balls deep and add Metal Slader Glory to the list ffs.
