bALEXc | 1
Anybody recommend where I can purchase these? There are several sellers at Ebay but where can I purchase ones that are as close to possible to the originals?

But the Castlevania Bloodlines and Mazin Saga case sleeves are difficult to find so I think I can settle for repros. Unless someone here has them for sale at a decent price. As for the label stickers I only need a few since I prefer to have a repro instead of a completely ripped cartridge label. RegularGuyGamer | 2,011
I'd rather have completely ripped off labels. Why not buy a game with a nice label instead of bastardizing a game with take stickers.
OptOut | 8,879
Yeah, fake label is worse than literally NO label.
Homer | 17
I have considered this and decided I'm going to print a ugly black and white print from my laser printer. That way I know what manuals and sleeves need to be replaced.
a_profile_name | 230
I agree with others here that a bad label / no label is much better then a fake label (yes, fake, a repro would be one made by Sega / Konami / whatever). Personally, I'd prefer no game then one with a fake label. Of course, if I had one with a fake label I'd just rip it off. But still, if somehow it was impossible to remove the fake label, I'd prefer to load a rom on a flash cart and use a sharpie to write the name of the game on it with spelling mistakes, then to own the fake one. That being said, it's a matter of personal taste. So you might prefer a fake label / sleeve. But here is the problem - one day you might want to sell it, and maybe the buyer doesn't want a fake label. Now, you are not putting one that is obviously fake, you are looking for ones that are "as close as possible to the originals". So that will be misleading a potential future owner.
bALEXc | 1
I see were you're coming from but I do decide to sell the games they will be labeled as reproduction labels/sleeves. I just need a place over until I find official product.

You never gonna be motivated to upgrade em without that shitty label staring you back in the face! Besides, you admit that you are only keeping em until you find "official product", what are the chances that you "forget" to mention the reproduction labels when it's time to pass em on...

Totally agree, and I don't care whether it's cheap or expensive. If I buy something and it's not completely original (fake label, PCB swapped, etc) it immediately goes in the garbage can or junk box, no questions asked. Such items would call into question the validity of any of my collection

We aren't just talking bootlegs though, we are essentially talking about antiques. No one wants their antiques restored or altered with modern junk
