Unless it was a critic that tends to favor the same things I do. I don't enjoy deep intellectual thinkpiece mindfuck movies, but they always have super high critic scores. I enjoy dumb feel good slapstick comedies, which are always moderately scored it seems. To @avatar!, you should consider following to an individual critic/reviewer you tend to agree with and follow them rather than the website/channel that publishes them. Reviews/critiques aren't dead, but they are certainly more niche than they used to be. Media and art is much more broad than it used to be.
