Jayleonis | 16
im going over some of my cibs and noticing that the code on the flap of the box doesnt match the manuals on some of my games. there is also a code on the cart stick in bottom left that will match one of the codes. does this mean that all the codes need to match for it to be complete from the same print run? from what ive read the code will specific the print run. Ive also seen this on my super mario world where the manual doesnt match the box and cart.
Code Monkey | 2,006
If they update the code on one piece, they don't update it for all. It just means a revision to that one specific piece and the others retain their original codes until they get revised. Yours is still likely all original. Any idea if this would be marked imp by wata?
Code Monkey | 2,006
Yes. If it initially came sold at retail in this configuration, WATA will not mark it IMP since they are properly married.
austin532 | 467
The first print Turtles in Time manual has the fruit snacks offer IIRC.
Jayleonis | 16
I think you are correct. The only manuals that are sns-tm-usa without the -1 on end have the fruit snacks. Edited November 25, 2020 by Jayleonis
Tyree_Cooper | 750
so you're mismatching the manual in purpose to grade... a used game... with a better grade? new collecting frontier
bowser | 598
Lol. This is why VGA only grades sealed games. Grading used CIB has no meaning. Nobody knows all the various combinations of manuals/boxes/carts that were put out by the factory. Grading loose carts makes sense though. I won't be surprised if graded CIB games lose their value in future.
