But Pong really improved on it and was much more successful. If you ask Allan Alcorn, Nolan Bushnell got the "inspiration" from seeing a Magnavox Odyssey demonstration prior to both shipping. Bushnell himself always said he based Pong on a computer tennis simulation he saw at the University of Utah.
