I've owned it before, thought I'd like to get it again but well price.  I gave it a 7.  It's not earth shattering excellent, just quite good, and far from bad.  The original stages, then the added ones and the new characters/bosses in those as well are a nice touch, giving more growth and choice of things to handle for your money in the day which was a good thing.  The stages and boss additions are nice, don't feel quite out of place and just the game on the whole gave you a little more to do while still feeling more classic to the era.

Awesome game all around and one of the best beat 'em ups it's really up there. I like how they polish DD1 but also mix in characters and design from other games in the series aswell, here you can knock people off the moving truck wich they never implemented in SDD as was intended. I would've loved seeing even more from the other entries done by these guys they did want to add more for the game but it never came to be.

The brain behind the project wanted the biggest size of GBA ideally but he had to settle for the lowest of 32 MB so he got in around 50% of the material he planned. It's a shame he didn't get unlimited resources to implement everything he wanted.

I do wish that the design of Billy and Jimmy was different however they look like some teenage manga douchebags.
