Was Clock and Dagger a move then a game or a game then a movie??

Movie then an arcade game. The Atari 5200/computer version was never officially released.

edit: actually, the game was developed independent of the movie and then they decided to tie it in at the last minute.

Gotcha! The Sport for NES is movie based, believe it or not.

Willow

And from the "why the hell did they make these" category:

Platoon

Blues Brothers

Cool World

I like the idea of a Blues Brothers game that involves car chases. It's the most memorable part of the movie and would translate well into a Spy Hunter/Bump n Jump type game. Instead we got a standard platformer that has nothing to do with the Blues Brothers other than the player sprites.
